It happened to my 07 Odyssey & all it needed was Neutral Safety Switch for $150 if the transmission is switching fine then its just this switch which tells your vehicles ECU which gear its on, this switch is like a mechanical rocker switch with shift contacts as you shift from P to D to N and those mechanical contacts worn out by time & not giving feedback to ECU if your transmission is bad it will stuck in limp mode and you will not be able to drive normally, it looks like they cheated you for 6K+ as this is very normal & all dealers do that. Sorry this is the part I am referring to (2011-2017 Honda Odyssey Neutral Safety Switch SMP 41921SV 2012 2013 2014) maybe you can go and ask that i want to keep my old transmission & i need it back.
Thanks. My van was having trouble to accelerating at times on on ramps . I noticed this prior to the errors showing up. I think I could have driven my van until it got worse, but I am not the only one who drives this vehicle. Thanks though for the possible reasons. I do not think my dealer diagnosed it incorrectly. I am disappointed that the transmissions failed. This happened with my 2001 as well but transmissions back then were not as pricey. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
Had this issues in my 2012 accord v6. Need new presssure switches 2nd 3rd gear. Tells the trans when to shift gears based on oil pressure(I think). Easy fix though
Glad it was an easier fix. At first, they thought it would be a simpler repair but upon further assessment, I got the bad news. Oh well.
Gracias 👌

What about UV light if you pin point inside the housing?
@@WaleedZanbagi I am guessing that would help eliminate germs that are exposed to the light. The benefit of the fan is that it would minimize moisture to prevent mold & mildew from forming from the start. Maybe it would be a good combination. Thanks for the comment. Keep getting things done!
Correction. You should wear gloves when replacing headlight halogen bulbs as the oil may cause hot spots reducing the life of the halogen lights. I am not sure this is an issue with incandescent bulbs like the signal light bulbs in this video. Also, when removing the old broken bulbs, this is not an issue either way as the old bulb is being removed. You may want to wear the appropriate gloves for other reasons though to protect your hands. 2:19

What if it says 0 dtc no codes but yellow ?
@@anttheman6370 this is what I found in an innova manual online. ‘Monitor Status - If the code reader’s LCD display shows the message 0 DTC (indicating there are no DTCs present in the vehicle's computer), but the yellow LED is lit, it indicates a Monitor Has Not Run status. This means that some of the monitors on the vehicle have not yet finished their diagnostic self-testing. This condition is confirmed by one or more blinking Monitor icons on the LCD display. A blinking Monitor icon means the Monitor has not yet run and finished its diagnostic self-testing. All monitor icons that are solid have completed their diagnostic self-testing. ‘
My guess is one of the I/M monitors is blinking as well?
This helps. My clarity is doing the same thing no warning

Thanks for your comment! To answer your questions: yes, each family member has their own private vault which only they can access. In regards to the security of individual accounts, 1Password uses a secret key that is required when logging in to a new computer/phone etc. apparently the secret key is not even known by 1Password. This adds an extra xtra layer of protection. When you initially sign up for an account, you are issued the secret key. If you lose it though, you are out of luck as 1Password cannot retrieve it for you.
I appreciate this video. As I watch it though I have two concerns with the family account that may be deal breakers for me. First I am about 13 minutes in to the video and I still have not heard anything about accessing the individual private vaults. I ASSUME that each person has their own unique master password which they use to get into their own private vault, but I didn't hear that really made clear. Second, as the discussion continued about shared vaults, it highlights to me the danger inherent with putting anything in the central shared vault since anything in there could be accessed multiple ways by bad guys since in this example there would be five times as many users with master passwords, the risk would be much greater someone would be leaving their master password exposed to the bad guys. I would exercise extreme caution with leaving anything in the shared public vault. I would not do this at all without 2FA enabled.
Thanks for your review. I was wondering if the device can be used as a holter ecg, when connected to the electrodes? I saw some posts online saying that they used it that way, but dont see any confirmation for that from the company..
I am glad my review was helpful. Overall great monitor. I would say not a good substitute for a holter. A lot of artifact when you move around. Not very useful.
@@youdoer Ok, thanks
@@youdoer Do you maybe know of some model in this price range that does work well as a holter? I vaguely remember some post about the artefacts when moving, but they blamed it on the electrodes and said that with different electrodes it works well.. I found some ecg's but most of them dont have a replaceable battery, which is kind of a deal breaker for me..
@@BenjaminCroatia I am guessing the poor performance is due to the cheap wires. When I think about it ekg stress tests seem to have no issues with clear readings despite the patient running on a treadmill. If I get a chance I will test my wire theory. BTW, there is a holter called a Zio. It is prescribed by your cardiologist. It is just stuck on your chest for whatever period of time. It has a button you can click if you are having symptoms so that it can be included in the test report.
Last night I noticed my right headlight burned out. Having only one headlight makes it harder to see for sure. Once I got to a safe spot, I literally pulled out a spare and replaced it in five minutes. Be safe.
They're obviously marked before filming
I did not mark them. I did know some of them were bad though. I had some other batteries but I wanted to stick to one brand. Personally I try to double check the ‘bad’ batteries with a multi before I toss them. Sometimes they work ok in a clock.
I wish I used more fore thought like you did with the little mini fan, jk I don't but I've got one even smaller than yours. The housing and basket are smaller same size and amount of ice probes though, I rarely turn mine off. I use a lot of ice on a daily basis. Its a necessary item for my chronic nausea. I unplug it and take it to the sink and use a straw cleaning brush, the sprayer hose from the sink and a lot of vinegar. From seeing other similar videos, its apparent that were all on the right track, I got the straw brush because I couldn't get my hand in the top rear to get to things easily. Its perfect and you can bend and shape it to get the backside if the probes, and everywhere.
Great suggestion. Thanks. I think the fan and brush combination will work well. ✅
I've had mine, different brand Silonn, for nearly a year.. no problem. The people that complain about the ice melting in the hopper... the hopper isn't refrigerated.it's going to melt if you don't use it or place in freezer right away. If they want a refrigerated hopper.. be prepared to spend triple. THese are great if your going to be around and want to make a bunch of ice and dump it as the hopper fills into the freezer, I tend to batch cook every other weekend since I'll be in the kitchen area anyhoo.. it's not a problem and you can make quite a bit in a few hours.... or use for a party on a cocktail table where you'd have available fresh ice.
Thanks for sharing your positive experience. 🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊
Bro - exactly what I do... pour the ice in a gallon ziplock freezer bag... I have a mini fridge/freezer in my kitchen to hold drinks... and I keep frozen fruit in the mini freezer...but I have room for a bag of ice... It's so easy to manage ice making by dumping it into the zip lock freezer bag as you showed....pop in freezer... when the ice maker gets full...grab zip lock bag, break up the ice that's already in there that sticks together and dump the new ice in until it's full.... ..... The REASON I don't dump it straight from the ice maker to the freezer ice bin is because the ice is "wet" and it will stick together....once it's been in the mini freezer in the zip lock bag it's no longer wet ice... I can break it up, then put it into the freezer bin... I just make sure I have enoiugh ice made for a few days... then I don't bother with it for a few days... but I do drain water, wipe out with paper towel then use a fan to dry.... I think I've had it for maybe 2 weeks or so at this point... I will monitor with a flash light to make sure I see anything crazy... but I will run the clean cycle with vinegar and scrub it at least once a month.... by the way.. Mine is one of those electric clip fans... I have an open small area of my kitchen that doesn't get used so I have this little table I just keep the ice maker there so it's not on my actual kitchen counter.
Thanks for all the great tips. I forgot about the clean cycle! I had another thought. I have watched a few videos on repairing broken ice makers and it seems like the motor gets rusty. Makes me think that the fan will help keep the area on the top right interior where the motor arm attaches to the water container and steel rods dry. I bet water and moisture gets into the motor at that point and it causes the motor to rust.
@@youdoer Well there are a few videos I've seren of people that have had theirs 3 years and still works. I guess we'll see. I'm pretty lucky at taking care of stuff and not having things die on me prematurely (for the most part)... But if there is a defect like that... let's hope the fan helps
Thank you!! Really helpful good info
Thanks for letting me know. I aim to help others get things done. Stay safe Sebastian. ✅
That wire isn’t corroded, it’s overheated. Probably from a failing switch, but if you can’t find the problem you could have a lint fire. Check all your grounds and lake sure the wall cord is grounded to the machine d properly. Resistance can melt wires all over the place.
Thanks so much. Yes the wire connector end did look overheated. It seems to have been corrosion/rust as well which may have caused the overheating. I also cleaned out the lint in the dryer and exhaust. Tried to seal air leaks which I think was a stretch. Thanks for mentioning the ground as well. At one point, my dryer cord did get damaged I think when I was moving the dryer away from the wall to unplug it! The connection point at the dryer loosened and caused issues and so I replaced it. Somehow the anchoring clamp to keep the power cord in place when pulled was missing. I really appreciate your comment.
