Nahhh bro , you can run down to the blood pond, at the farthest right corner of the pond you can use Torrent to jump up once to the right, then double jump to the left side cliff face, then jump back to your right to reach the out of bounds area. From there run to the back cliff side ( you will not clip through the cliff ) take Torrent to the edge , pop a golden fowl foot, wear the gold scarab , shabrir’s woe, and leap off the edge with Torrent . Once you start falling begin to swing your right or left handed weapon repeatedly . Doing so will cause the game to glitch and you will literally clip out of bounds. Doing so will cause all the enemies to de-spawn . The game thinks since the enemies ai has “ died “ you are rewarded with runes . After falling for about 20 seconds you will net 170,000 - 300,000 runes each jump (depending on if you are in NG+ and beyond ) just remember to quickly open your map and warp back to your last bonfire or you will eventually die . This glitch still works too. Hasn’t been patched out yet

How to get to that island

Just shoot the bird with any bow or the rock sling spell

Honestly, I think it might be more efficient to just snipe the bird, the second he raises his wings to jump the ledge, he's already dead so you just immediately 180 back to the grace point and rest. If you do it right, you'll be getting back out of the grace point *as* youre collecting your runes from the first bird jumping and a new one will already be reset. If youre quick, you can even snipe him through the tree branches *as* hes walking to the ledge which will immediately trigger his suicide jump lol. It's so fast and the bird is worth so much more than everything else, to maximize your fowl foot time with him just seems better. Just my take though, I think its clever to add the sword and other mobs to the rotation and Ive never heard anyone also mention the scarab, so either way its a good vid of solid info.

Im still at the earliest of the game I haven't got that far yet, but I must say, thats alot of runes... and im saving this video for later! Thank you
