Such a charismatic man 💕and a great drummer. He has quite a good voice as well, it was only till recently I discovered he is the vocalist in "Mr X", one of my favourite songs by Ultravox. Love it.

Jon Foxx was far more interesting than Midge Ure.

i'm not good at music but it reminded me of post punk, idunno if ultravox was postpunk but gud job!!!

Is it just me or does John Foxx Vocals with Ultravox or later on in his Solo career remind you of Bryan Ferrys Vocals in his Roxy Music Days?

Far more dynamic performance from Foxx than in his solo career. Billy Currie with only an electric piano! Young Savage is an ace recording that should be regarded as a punk classic.

I just found out recently that bassist and keyboard musician Chris Cross passed away this past March of 2024 at the young age of 71. Very, very sad. Do Rest In Peace Chris Cross, and it was a fantastic experience seeing you in concert back in 1979 at the Whiskey A Go-Go in West Hollywood, California. Us old Ultravox listeners (with John Foxx) will miss you, but never forgotten.
