Thank you so much for uploading this! This was the year my mom started renting out Music Bank VHS tapes every week from the Korean video rental store (along with Gag Concert and BboBboBbo and her dramas) for us to watch and I have so much nostalgia for these songs. SummerTime was my absolute favorite as a kid and I made my mom replay it in the car constantly ❤ Champion was my 2nd favorite and I remember it being the very last song on the tape we had, too. Didn't learn until years later that it sampled Axel F from Beverly Hills Cop.

That YG Family video was awesome. I hope they re-release it some day in HD! (on youtube the song is called "Famillenium")

My youtube recommended me this video and I didn't know some of my most loved songs were from this year (다시 사랑한다 말할까 - 김동률 / 낭만고양이 - Cherry Filter / Never Ending Story - 부활) I will surely watch your others videos. I discovered Korean music in 2012 but I enjoy listening to older Korean songs (it can be from around 1950 to 1990) but the early 2000 is unknown for me with some exceptions. I think it's important to listen to the "older" songs to understand the "today" and respect the 1st Korean pop groups/artists. ♥

I was half expecting most of the artists to be typical idols, but I was surprised to see a decent amount of songs that I like from popular artists I enjoy. 조규만 is truly a genius composer, he composed 2 of the ballads sung here and he also sang one of them.

They have got another song with the same tune but different lyrics, that song name 'Just In Love' if I am not wrong?

🥹These videos are coming to an end soon...at least you've kept it going past the actual beginning of 2nd gen. Sadly mid 2000s didn't have a lot of idol groups doing big things but Brown Eyed Girls and Big Bang changed it all in the next year (2006)

This year got so many familiar songs that I can point out completely! Like I know the songs because of the remakes and covers (IU's Flower Garden, Joy's Hello, etc.) and from newer kpop artists' performances on variety shows (e.g Solji's Goodbye For Now, etc.) plus background music from variety shows also! Also some of my faves are here too like Nell's Stay and Delispice's Confession! Such a great year 💕
