A part of me finds it pretty jarring that Tainted Victory is considered a better ending than Ultimate Sacriface. You are alive, but it you have to live with the evil seemingly still being around by the sound of the Scholar and Ministry Man's ending. But on the other hand, I guess if you truly didn't die in the realm of the ancient's, well there's a bigger hell waiting for you on the other side. Damn.

Honestly, it's very in character. 47 perfing the protagonist kills their murderer of a father instead of forgiving them. After all that's what he did. That was his "defining moment" as he put it.

I know this is an older video, but I just had to vent. I unlocked the ministry man and was grinding to build stats up/trying to unlock the other two characters, when I accidentally deleted all my saved data. AGH. Had to uninstall the game after that. Maybe I'll go back some time, but I just need to take a break from it

Warrior B goes hard AF.

Personally, my headcanon with the endings (assuming we got Ending A) is that, after what happened with the chaos described in the diary pages, the Scholar, Wizard and Warrior (in this case the latter two being rescued during gameplay) are hired by T to replace the high-profile figures in the Ministry corrupted by the Shadow such as C.

Even though Yahtzee himself said every ending is technically canon because "multiverse reasons," I like to imagine the PRIME canon ending as the last one in the video (Ending A w/ Ministry Man). And I even have a theory to go along with it. It's implied "T" or the Ministry Man is Trilby, but I also like to imagine "C" or the Scholar as Chris Quinn (from Age of Evil) and that partway during his journey to stop the invading ancient, Chris has lost too much sanity, went to the Ministry of Occultism to go on a shooting rampage, and is put down by Trilby. He then steals E's car (who was a secretary at the time but later becomes the new master apprentice) to finish the job and afterwards, leaves the Ministry after they want him arrested for killing Chris. Not sure if he'll appear in Yahtzee's DEDA series, but hey, you could imagine he continues his thief misadventures in Casey Joint (from Dev Diary). Oh and just for fun, I think "E" or the Wizard is Ms. Elizabeth Lawrence (from Differently Morphous) and the Warrior is just some random karate dude that got caught in this conflict.

Random trivia: I wrote the music for Ending C before the B or A endings, or even the title music. So all of those themes are actually based after the C ending leimotif.

The ONE instance where a lip smack would actually be appropriate, and he doesn't do one. What a shame

I find ending G for all 4 characters hilarious because they all sound so determined to save humanity and then they just immediately off themselves 2 seconds later

Additonally, I just noticed the last letter of the video-url is a single "g". Like G, the death-ending. I find this disconcerting.

I realize while watching this that the eyes that appear on the screen at the various points when the Shadow is approaching have differently coloured irises each time depending on the Ancient's associated colour. There's so much detail in this game it's insane.
