Hi, we were in a Deluxe Ocean room. It has partial ocean view since the building sits diagonal to the ocean. We were in building 5. We loved the privacy of the tropical trees, the sound of the ocean, plus it's close to the "secret hot tub". 🙂

We were there in August. There was minimal seaweed in the ocean. There was a storm one night when we were there. The storm brought in a some seaweed, but their workers cleaned it up early the next morning. We were at the beach daily and it was beautiful.

The water in front Resort is pretty rough, with a red flag out often (not allowed in the ocean)

I will go alone in september, I dont think you have to be afraid, use the metro on daytime, take uber/taxi at the night, be aware of your pockets and bag. Thats is.
