Great videos, it's weird there's not many doing what you do, as in decent information and quality. Well done. What size of mackerel chunks should you put in these hooks? Keep it up👍

Alright Anto ive been catching tons of mackerel since early may but 90% of them were absolutly tiny still great crack doh

What motor mount?
I made one using old steel bar and white waste pipe that fits into rod holders

How is the steering? Is it hard to turn do you need the paddle?
Hi it turns no problem, I don’t use paddle when using engine
The North side of Sutton creek channel can be excellent for decent sized ragworm. Ive caught some good bass there on spring tides. It's even more enjoyable catching them there with lures on early mornings.

I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a th-cam.com/users/postUgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.

Greystones is always either a hit or miss with very little in between for fishing. Though the very top of the North beach can be great bass fishing on a spring tide. One of the best top-water lure sessions I've had was there two hours into a flooding spring tide with an offshore wind.
how much mackerel did ya get anto , wonder are they after coming down to Waterford yet
Two hours say I was out and got about 40 odd mackerel, now I was only getting ones but Paul was getting 3 mostly but he had blue feathers, normally I would change to same colour that is catching but we were only getting some to eat so wasn’t mad to get more as my freezer is busting with them
caught 28 mackerel out in howth lastweek there well in mackerel bashing seasins in full swing
Yea pal they were late last year but seems like early this year
Caught 40+ in Devon fue weeks ago of beach feathers in less than 2 hours

Any tips for fishing around howth , I believe there’s mainly mackerel what bait is good and what is a good setup
For mackerel I always use silver feathers, have tried them all but find this style best

Hey it’s greystones and camera is GoPro 7 in underwater case attached to line but be careful you have heavy enough line as I lost one of my first try as full line of Mack tangled and broke

Crab or prawn pal but I mainly use prawn
Good video! Most of my lead comes off the beach at low tide - I've found 10s of pounds of the stuff over the years! Used to mould dozens years ago but now I just use The found ones. Still have a few of my 'home made ones - Probably 40 years old now! 😆😆😆
they sell dogfish in london as cod , never tried it but i will when im fishing again
