    Google Maps does the same but Apple Maps is so much easier to read. Tells you the price off your train rides, when to expect your train, what platform to be on, what signs to follow to get to that platform, the train name (local, rapid, express), even what car number to be in for the easiest exit, and then what signs to follow to exit the stations (A1, B3, etc.). All signs are in English, everything is labeled, I promise its the most reliable transportation in the world for a reason because its very easy to get around in Japan once you get the hang of looking at the signs and just adapting, 9/10 the big crowd of people walking in a certain direction is the same way you'll be going. Hand gestures will get you very far here, as well as names, show an officer your phone, your ticket, and they'll know you'll want directions and they'll point. Not everyone speaks perfect English but I never once struggled with getting help or not understanding. Pointing and holding up fingers for how many of something you want is something you'll be doing constantly. The Apple Wallet Suica is a life saver and so easy to just tap in and out wherever you go. Top it off whenever you want, you can use it on any kind of train, trolley, tram, the busses, ferry's, vending machines, etc. Some people you may not even need an eSIM or mobile Wi-Fi, my T-Mobile comes with an international plan and as soon as I landed I had service which is very helpful. Always write down all the addresses of your accommodations before you leave. You never know if you may need it if you cant get service to call an Uber or your phone just dies or breaks, you'll have a way to get back to your hotel. When you check out at convenience stores or any kind of store 9/10 they will ask you a question either cash or card or if you want a bag. Just show them your payment by holding it up or say yes (hai) for the bag and you'll be in and out. Download the Google Translate app as they have a camera feature to take a picture and translate it for you. Helps a lot with menus and in stores but they'll always have pictures of what they are, like I said before just point and they'll point back to make sure its what you want. Be confident, don't be scared, they are just as nervous to talk to you and want to understand you just as much as you want to understand them, just be kind, respectful, aware of your surroundings and not get in peoples way, always bow and say thank you and you'll have no problem being in Japan.

    Here’s my tips. 1. Have an iPhone 2. Add the Suica card to your Apple Wallet. Charge it with 4000 Yen 3. Buy a 7-30 day Airalo travel eSIM (can be done entirely in the App) 4. Download the map of Tokyo/wherever before you land 5. Watch a video “Top 50 Japanese Phrases” like 3 times. 6. Know Please, Excuse Me, Thank You, Yes, I’m alright, and “one moment please” 7. Try and stay up till at least 9PM your first night to help combat jet lag 8. Download Google translate and download the Japanese and English language. Practice with it a bit. Appreciate the effort, but in my 30s I don't believe any of it. I wanted to be good at drawing since very long time and I just know I can't be, because a random talented brat will learn several times faster than me and with less effort and stress about it. That is what being untalented is like. Using Rock Lee as an aexample is also funny, considering that later in the series the strongest characters are the ones with special powers of straight-up bullshit on their side.

    • @sleep5711
      @sleep5711 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sry got longer and longer and I lost myself in thought... Hey what exactly did you mean with "wanted to be good at drawing since very long time" Did you start drawing and are still doing so? Also yeah I know the feeling of there will be a little kid or like you put it talented brat that learns several times faster and with less effort and "stress" but I started to see them as a positive thing and you shouldn't be stressed out about something you are supposed to do out of fun and because you just want to do it. First of all yeah there might be some talented kid that will outshine you but there is really no need to compete against anyone else, sure there are some competition or awards but first and probably foremost your only competition is yourself. + in games I like that since they tend to improve the skill lvl and bring in newer or funny ideas and I can learn from them, by copying stuff or asking for advise. If you want to get good at anything it doesn't matter how and where you start, yes if you show promise(talent) in the thing you will enjoy it more but there a tons of "talented" people that started with the same baseline of skill and "talent", if not even less, as you that are at the top of there field just trough dedication. I also still need to get started but I also struggle with other stuff but I finally dropped the excuses "I used to be better" and "no I'm Allready to old" or "if I didn't stop drawing back then how good would I have been by now"

    • @Zelgeist
      @Zelgeist หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sleep5711 Thank you for your response and I certainly don't mind it being long. It shows you put some effort in there and that's much more than I could have hope for from anyone online. Answering your first question, is that I'm 32, and while I wanted to be good at drawing as a teenager, I only started to put concrete/directed effort at it since I was about 22-23 as oppossing just drawing for fun or relax. My best work I ever did was made in 2018 and since them, I am plattituding, while watching everyone improving at what they do but me. In those circumstances, after several years of failures and no progress, I can't do anything but think that most of my efforts lead to nothing but failure. That leads to a point you made as well. You see, I can't even compete with myself now, not after having no improvement in last 6 years. Call that excuses if you want. The fact is people in my family tend to die in their 60s, so as far as I know, I lived half of my life as a complete failure.

    • @sleep5711
      @sleep5711 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Zelgeist well I do as well feel kinda like a failure, others tend to tell me otherwise but most of them like me in this situation don't really know what is Going on and have other views like stuff I don't find amazing or good they say are good or impressive in some way but they either aren't anything special or good by any means per my perspective or just not on Paar with my standards (basicly the same). I do hope you are gonna exceed the last point and get out of this viewing point and archive happenies in whatever you do. There will be something where you are bound to strive and be this "talented brat" and like I said there will be things others find amazing and impressive you do but not by your standards or they just seem normal to you since it's what you do anyway. I'm not sure in what way you didn't improve and yes one of my best work is also rather old like 2016 when I picked up drawing once again befor dropping it once again but that also is connected with the feelings I had after finishing it and it elevated my standards. I also find it hard to see improvements over time, because they happen steadily and rather slow on less you have some kind of epiphany, so you yourself might oversee them but others might spot them. A good way to see if you actually reached a bottleneck or not would be to revise older drawings and see what you would do better now or just draw them once again. Like there are alot of people that do that kind of video. Redrawing there first scratches etc. Maybe it would do you good to try that as well. Last night and in the morning I watched a lot of self improving stuff and got back to drawing related stuff and saw a few that seemed to have similar issues, feeling like they hit a bottleneck and nothing changing and after revising what they where doing and how they realized they did it "wrong" or not in the correct order. Maybe didn't find the correct way for them. There are a lot of good tutorials and from what I saw a lot of videos that show different approaches to improving and learning certain skills, it also helps researching what kind of drawings your like and want to archive then just copying what they do. Drawings or copying step to step if they made tutorials about it. Trough copying you can learn a lot. Like I said I don't know what exactly you did Allready or what not and what would work for you, I also need to Figur it out for myself. But keep at it and you will figure it out. There are a lot of different styles and niches and some will work for us

    My theory is that games used to innovate and push the gaming medium forward. Now every game just tries to copy and paste everything from other bigger releases. This is also why there are so many remakes and remasters nowadays. Lack of will to innovate and wanting to make a quick safe buck. It's also getting harder every year to keep up with the standards of each game coming out. They just make the games bigger and with prettier graphics just to show off and compete with other games but when it comes to gameplay it's always a back thought and not the main thing. I mean there's a reason why every game these days is either a generic shooter, any kind of souls like on the planet or a Nintendo game (that stick to the roots). I'm sick of these souless empty open worlds games with nothing interesting to do in them. Make better game not bigger games. I find it harder each year to get lost in the newer games i play because they feel so cookie cutter. I remember playing GTA 3 and thinking how insane of a game it was for being so open ended. It felt like real life at the times and I'm not exaggerating. Nowadays i barely get that wow factor. Everything is just a cheap copy of some other thing

      @@BailableBody yeah, I would love to see smaller companies doing games like the old days (not a 3000 employees fully fleshed game develops company) Blizzard used to have 30 to 50 employees and they say it used to be like a family. Less graphics and VFX an more content would be amazing too!
