I’ve got new wheels coming, which wpl axles did you use sounds like a good idea

@RcScaleTales Cool I'll look out for how yours progresses. All WPL axles are the same - either the metal upgrade or stock RTR (there's some minor detail differences with older and current RTR axles but not enough to describe them as different). It's the metal upgrade ones you'd want anyway. I've had a few different MNs converted to WPL axles for the narrower track width and will be doing another 99 soon. The only real issue is that you also need to use the WPL Truss as the axle mounting holes are closer together on WPL than they are on MN axles. I tend to use the WPL link kits too, making my own link bars from 3mm all thread or 3mm double ended studs in places that the WPL supplied parts aren't quite long enough.

Do you find the 3s allows more control but still have performance

@ oh dang thanks , I just got this little rig couple days ago. And I ordered the metal axles, metal links and shocks.. I didn’t get the metal drive shaft figured it wasn’t necessary.

@ seems like it really just needs the front shocks to be oil filled

Thanks for watching! Yeh the orange version is by far the most striking, for me the brown was the best of the remaining too. I’ve had both the scx6 and trx6 which I have sold . Like you I think the new Toyota looks amazing . The lower prices do make them seem so much more better than the usual Traxxas and axial trucks.

I got some WPL C64 wheels, did some fender trimming and now I'm running DJ Crawler 74mm tires.
