Reventon's Year in Review - 2024
As 2024 draws to a close, at Reventon we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an extraordinary year. This year has been a testament to the power of collaboration, dedication, and the unwavering trust of our clients and partners.
Approaching 20 years in business, we are proud to have helped over 10,000 clients and assisted 3,500 people in achieving their dream of entering the property market. These milestones reflect the passion and hard work of our team and the belief you place in us every day.
It’s also been an award-winning year for Reventon. We were finalists in 14 prestigious industry awards and walked away with 8 wins across the Property, Finance, and CEO categories. Among these accolades, being named a *Great Place to Work* stands out as a recognition of the supportive and empowering culture we’ve built together.
2024 wasn’t just about business-it was about giving back. For the second consecutive year, we were the highest fundraiser (VIC) for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, raising enough to feed nearly 40,000 people in need. This brings our total contributions to this cause to over $800,000.
Another highlight of the year was the completion of our 'Brick by Brick Charity Build'. Now on the market, this project aims to raise $900,000 for charity through its sale. It’s an initiative close to our hearts, and we invite you to learn more by clicking the link brickbybrick.net.au/
None of this would have been possible without our amazing clients, partners, and the Reventon team. You’ve been instrumental in helping us live our mission of creating positive change in people’s lives.
As the festive season continues, we hope you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and wish you a prosperous New Year filled with happiness, peace, and special moments with loved ones.
From all of us at Reventon, thank you for being part of an incredible 2024. Here’s to an even brighter 2025!

This Week in Real Estate, National dwelling values hit a new peak of $800,000 in November following 23 consecutive months of growth. Growth To Continue in smaller capital cities.
มุมมอง 10หลายเดือนก่อน
Property prices are tipped to keep growing, particularly in Australia’s smaller capital cities in 2025. SQM Research says the most likely scenario next year, of a 25 to 50 basis point rate cut midway through the year means, property values are expected to continue to increase. Perth will lead the market with growth at around 17%, followed by Brisbane at 12%, and Adelaide at 11%. Also a lot of p...

Buyers are returning to the property market in huge numbers!
มุมมอง 62 หลายเดือนก่อน
A recent study of investors and industry professionals, shows they are feeling increasingly positive about the market. The number of people with a “wait and see” attitude, has dropped a lot over the last three quarters. Only 22% of people don't think it's the right time to buy or sell, down from 39% in the middle of the year. Also, almost 30% of people we asked, are planning to buy in the next ...
2025 Aussie Property Market Boom!
มุมมอง 352 หลายเดือนก่อน
With a rate cut looking increasingly likely for early next year, buyers who've been holding off purchasing, will have more borrowing capacity to compete for properties. House and unit prices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth hit new records in the September quarter. When rates start to go down, we expect buying activity and prices to shoot up even further. Even during high interest rates...

    I have a question, what if you own your property already, if there’s no mortgage, then you have 100% equity on the home you own If you own the home worth 450k, but you want to own an investment property worth 300k, then your equity covers the cost right?

      @brino2999 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes, and new property will ´ clean ´ with no loan. So than you can buy another property, if you have income. Income also makes new property if you rent it.

    I am in a situation whereby I have clear title on a house in the city, my first home and currently rented out. I live in a second house that I owe 175k on. The estimated value of the two properties is ~2.3million. I have an income of ~250k p.a including the rental income. I want to buy a new house for my primary residence for 1.2million, thus renting out the current home. So 2x rental income stream and my salary will combine for ~300k p.a. I feel as though I should be able to purchase the new home as I have so much equity and solid income, however I find my max borrowing to be around 870k and the broker suggest I need to sell a property in order to fund the purchase. Thoughts?

      @@merkel2750 well you know, I didn't get gifted any of it so I'm not going to let you shame me for participating in the rat race and trying to ensure when I die my kids have half a chance to NOT participate in the rat race. As it happens I pay around 100k in income tax per year, and unlike some I am happy that my labour is financing programs such as welfare for those who struggle. I was in that spot for a while myself. So yeah, the system ain't great but unless you want socialism and universal basic income and to be sucking at the teat of government at the expense of what's left of your freedom I reckon just saddle up and have a go. If you DO want those things then yeah I guess we are just different.

    I have been defrauded by heloc by overly inflating my property value and paid expensive origination fee then 3 months later suspended my heloc citing my property was significantly had declined in value. When I applied for a heloc loan on my residential property last May 2024 it was overly inflated up to $ 420,000 for a townhouse and was able to take a $200,000 line of credit causing me to pay an origination fee of $5,700 after they had deposited $193,000 to my bank account. I paid them the amount of $172,000 only keeping $21,000 as my loan for the purpose of paying my personal loan and credit cards balance. Three months later which is August of 2024 when I requested for another draw of $17,000 they suspended my heloc for the reason that the property value had significantly declined to $ 276 210. I felt devastated and distraught thinking that I had been scammed. They made a misrepresentation on the application for their gains. I'm not very knowledgeable regarding heloc and was not properly told/explained that once approved the whole amount will goes to your bank. I was not asking for a $ 200,000 loan. When I applied for Heloc at Figure lending took me 5 minutes processing including checking my bank account,they did their appraisal thru artificial intelligence and got the property value of $420,000 that's why they give me a loan of $ 200,000 to access. I checked their property appraisal recently and found out that they did the wrong address and made me felt like it's all fraud. The issue and my complaint was - there is no significant decline of property value. The correct value of my property should be on the upper $ 200,000 like to 270,000- 280,000 I owed 197,000 was expecting for a heloc of $ 20,000 or 25,000 at least. I know for a fact that my property was never appraised to more than $300,000 In conclusion if they have appraised it properly there should be no decline of property value and I should not be paying a HIGH ORIGINATION FEE of $5,700. Need help on what to do. I need to get some of my money back. Please BEWARE!!!

    thanks for sharing this great and informative video. lets say ''optimistically speaking'' if i wasn't concerned about the risks because im confident i can make the repayments ,is there any other reasons why it's not a good idea to stick with one bank for both properties? or is there any other benefit to separating them into 2 banks ?

    • @JamalHashe
      @JamalHashe 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As far as I can tell, no. The new 150 is a separate loan facility. Only after you use that 150, it will be charged interest on it. Think of it like a Off-set account but separately accounted for interest (for tax purposes).

You've had such an impact on our lives and it's been an absolute pleasure dealing with such a positive and happy team. Each member within the Reventon Group is really so focused on building long term relationships. Which in my opinion is actually quite unique in this industry. We look forward to continuing a long healthy relationship with you all and celebrating together in our retirement.
