Yup low block will check leg kicks. You might not get the check animation because your opponent could be throwing a calf kick(different block animation) but low block (L2+R2) does a lot. It blocks all body shots,leg/calf kicks and takedowns. In UFC 4 and 5.

Yea man I agree. For the most part I don't enjoy playing this game. The stamina drain is in a good place imo but punishment of having low long term stamina is non-existent. For example my opponent can have half the long term stamina I have and still do just about as much damage. So some(most) players don't give shit about stamina managment and just pressure fight. Just sometimes it seems like mindless game play is rewared to much.

Well there you have it That's why people keep.playing this games I will honest I don't play online first person shooters because maybe il get lucky ad I will shot one or two guys but pros will destroy me This games are skill based And people who are to lazy to get really good after seeing how far in skill all players ahead won't play it But ufc games are gamble Literally Handicap (noob chanches no win equals pro chanses to win ) There you have it This is the secret And even me today only lvl 8 I knockout lvl 99 dude with saint pier profile picture 2 times We went 3-2 How is that possible ? He is lvl 99 been playing at least 300 hours I've been playing 7 (more then half in character creation ) Ea game system handicap

Yeah man seems possible also the online is really bad this year. I mean not everyone is a lag switcher of course there's probably a few. I know it's not just me either cause other complain all the time about the lag. So it's definitely possible.

Yup I'm still here. Just haven't opened the game today. I'm hearing there was a fighter update. Sometimes it'll say fighter up but it just update the store and fighter contracts. I'll look for changes when I'm I log on.

@JokerCarnageYT just wanted to say thank u for the takedown bail. U are right. Sometimes, it saves u. I enjoy it alot. Players get so frustrated that they start throwing all kinds of lol 😆 😂. I either press l2 box or l2 triangle than cancel. How u turn them around. 🤔 🙏

@JokerCarnageYT another ??. Been trying to find ways to strike fast and repeat another combo. How? My fight bounce up and down when do I strike. Do I hold the button. Fo I press early.

So to bail you do a double leg if you want to go to the back once you bail you input a single leg. I wouldn't hold the button it's all just about feeling really. If I'm trying to interrupt my opponent I'll try go right when go, usually starting my combo with a straight. Also plant feet strikes come out faster.

Yeah you can only customize your CAF (create a fighter) in online career mode. Which can be a grind to get your fighter to your liking.

I can try. One of the devs told me they sometimes mix stances. So for example a fighter could have a different stance out range then a different stance while in range/pocket. So finding stances isn't as easy.

You can't be holding block if you want to counter. That's the risk reward in it. So just pull back and throw a hook or uppercut. I recommend trying it with a friend or in practice mode to get the timing.

Huh weird sounds like a timing issue. Try either throwing a the second the hook misses or wait like a second. Also are you minor pulling or major. Minor is like a flick major is you hold the stick back further. Are you on PS5?

@@JokerCarnageYTits a single leg bail you shoot the single leg and cancel it with r2 or RT you need a slight stam advantage so probably just let you opponent miss a strike then shoot and cancel it’ll take you to their backs was added in the latest patch and if you read the patch notes it explains it better

Oh I thought he was talking about when your opponent denies a turn and then you can take the back. Saw Romero XVII do it in his stream a few days ago. He didn't just cancel the takedown he turned it then opponent denied it then Romero took his back.

@battlefield3fan14 yes for sure. I won't lie when UFC 5 launched I was very disappointed. Just like a lot of the player base. I'm glad EA are actually making better changes instead of just minor ones to the game play.

I don't think it's to mess with us. If you notice the stance switch's when the fighters are in a certain range.

If you are creating your fighter through career mode you won't see them. You can only pick a archetype when go the create fighter in the main menu

Are you talking UFC 4 or UFC 5? I haven't played UFC 4 in awhile. I'll have to test these out in UFC 5. I'm pretty sure they should still work as I've seen other people do them. Also they made it so you need a short term stamina advantage to get the double leg bail in UFC 5 now

You need a short term stamina advantage not long term. So for example after your opponent whiffs a strike or 2 and there yellow bar goes down. That's when you shoot and should be able bail.

I know I've been searching just can't find it. Might be unique to him. Wish EA would just make them all available. Also I was told by a Dev that some stances are mixed. So some fighters have 2 different postures which makes sense why I can't find some when I compare.

@beetlejuice3925 I'll do my best. Honestly been looking for Cain and Roundtrees. I just hate the process. Do example when setting the stance in create a fighter you can't rotate the preview. In any other game where you create a character you can rotate the characters but ya know EA. It's just taking me awhile to go through all the fighters.

@@JokerCarnageYT I feel you brother, it’s a real pain. The closest I’ve found to cains stance is islams stance but even then it’s not the same. Islams stance is a lot more “bouncy” but his hand position are the same as cains. I don’t understand why ea just can’t make it easy for us and let us choose whatever stance we want -_-
