Derrick Sound is a duo of DJs/producers/MCs. Actors of the Artamis alternative scene in Geneva, Mr. Nico and Inspecta Derrick made their debut at the mythical K-Bar and Piment Rouge in the early 2000s. Inspired by sound system figures such as David Rodigan, Fire Links or Tony Matterhorn, Derrick Sound forges a unique style whose trademark is originality and energy. Derrick Sound's remixes, dubplates and ambitious productions have often shocked reggae purists but have popularized them. After experimenting with the European Clash scene and winning the Geneva Clash twice, Derrick Sound turned to production and founded the Evidence Music Label in 2013, in collaboration with Little lion. With numerous productions to his credit, including "BUN DEM DOWN feat. Capleton", "LIFE GOOD feat. ANTHONY B" or "DREADLOCKS THING feat. Brother Culture", Derrick Sound is on the rise.
