Whether it's Indian international students coming to Canada by the thousands each year OR the Filipino caregivers coming to Canada by the thousands each year...the same problem exists. They are NOT fixing the problems Canada has, which is SKILLED workers. Fast-food, Uber, PSW, nannies...these aren't what Canada needs...they need university educated OR skilled people...engineers, doctors, construction workers, first world trained nurses...not people from third world countries who's skills aren't to Canadian standards...you have Indian students working Uber or at fast food restaurants....you have Filipino's working as nannies or PSW but in the Phillipines, they are nurses and they can't work here as nurses because they can't pass the nursing exams and Canada doesn't recognize their qualification because it's not to Canadian standards, so they stay in Canada and do factory work or restaurant work or clean houses....these aren't skills or people Canada needs and wants...CANADA NEEDS HIGHLY SKILLED PEOPLE...doctors and first-world qualified nurses and skilled contractors etc...we are letting in low skilled people. You have Filipinos who ABUSE the 'Caregiver Program' by working as a nanny or caregiver for a couple years, than calling all their family members who aren't skilled, to come to Canada because that's what the program guarantees. This is another example of low skill people bringing in family that Canada doesn't need. We need to attract smart people, rich people, people with skills Canada values. I don't know why we as Canadians, don't got to Europe or Australia or Russia or China/Japan/South Korea and attract their best people MORE, but we get thousands and thousands of Indians, Filipinos, Africans from third world countries. CANADA IS NOT A COUNTRY FOR THIRD WORLD PEOPLE IF CANADA WANTS TO GROW.

I have a friend who is Indian, came here as PR. He waited for for 7 years to get his PR while working in India. There are plenty of legal ways to get PR, you just need to wait, be educated and have the right set of skills and experience from back home.

These guys don't seem to study in Canada. They probably can't answer what they are studying in Canada.
