I just picked this system up myself. What did you end up putting it in and how did it work?
It went in my Mojave Grom I may post up a video but first time had installed my pinion and spur wasn’t correct mesh , like loose So couple days later went in and fixed it So far runs great Thanks for asking

Diffs , so far so good I upgraded diffs on typhon grom , and of course Mojave has V2 diffs stock Granite Grom still runs V1 and doing fine

@@mikeshoup7122 hey thank you very much I just wanted to make sure it was that size because I'll be replacing the 2847 - 4000 KV with this one. How have you liked your setup and are you able to run 3s on it fine
So that's what I thought but just because it has the 2800 number on it it's actually a 3650 size. All the motor mounts fit a 3650 and also all the cooling fans I wish they would say that but the box it comes in it does now.
Ok. I also just ordered this for my 1/14. I did read people using 3s and 4s on this?
I don’t know about running 4s But Spektrum 85 or 100 amp ESC is perfect match with that on 3s
I think the perfect speed for that little guy is between 30-35. Great video bro
I thought above 4000kv on a 2440 size brushless can, can only do 2s because temps will burn it up… 4000kv and under on small rc is doable with three cell and ok temps….
Yea was curious about same thing So spoke with hobbywing They said it would be fine on 3s Considering brushless electronics I get around 8 mins of running time and I usually stop around then On 3s

Just ordered this exact motor n esc on Amazon. does it get super hot running on just 2s too? I see you went with another combo for you typhoon is this kingsval still good?
My kingval is still good yes And 2s is great , just 3s if run hard It gets pretty hot I could gear down with like 16t pinion and deff would help

Yes , just put up vid showing my speeds with 18t pinion Electronics get pretty toasty , maybe 10 mins running 3s

Yea it’s pretty fast with what I have in it . Just added a arrma receiver box Little more protection to keep dry

new subscriber. great video. regarding that side of the cars body hitting the power button, my first thought is I would consider using a concave cap from a water bottle and mount on top of the power button to prevent it from being touched. I ordered this truck last year. Hope I attain it some day. I highly recommend that all avoid ordering from "tower Hobbies" I know I do regret having done so. thus far at least. Hope I receive what i ordered in the near future. Best wishes n happy trails.
Yea I’ve thought about either moving the power button or what could I use to protect it . And yes I’ve heard bad things about horizon/tower hobbies They are all over the place , ever since those 2 merged together it’s been hectic Anyways good luck to you and thanks for the sub 👍

What spur and pinion did you use? I thought to change the spur you needed the blx slipper thing the red one
I changed the spur gear/assembly over to 0.8 mod 57t and used 21t pinion gear I think that’s correct , been a bit since i did it .
