Dragons Dogma 2 is finally out! So far its a pretty cool open world game with a lack of QoL improvements that you may have become accustomed to
First 3 hours (part 1-3) hasn't been extremely impressive and some areas are frustrating (e.g. navigating the world map, fall damage, loss of hp/fatigue, lack of quest indicators).

This game is amazing. First game in a while that I keep going back to after getting all the available trophies (obviously not the 2 event trophies). It's just so satisfying to make cool gunpla.

Watching the gigantic Gundam head is just like trying to solve the puzzle about how it can transform into the Ultimate Gundam and Rain's Dark Gundam.

Yes - I saw someone use this on me so I replicated it for fun. I think it was a bug but basically self immolating yourself and holding a shotel that inflicts blight would cause instant death to anyone because each tick would cause the death blight status to build up Not sure if it works anymore, this was done very early on like within 1 month of the launch of ER

Did this fight today - get on foot and stay at mid range using the terrain as cover - if you gain any kind of distance it's flame time! After that rock sling FTW.

Can you please explain your button presses at 6:47? I see you have two bars full, so do you do a perfect guard then immedeatly press L1 + triangle. Or do you press L1 + triangle instead of the perfect guard? Hope you understand my question. Thanks for the video.
Its L1 + Triangle absolute guard for the umbrella special - basically lets you perfect guard 100% but uses 2 bars of fable It has a easier timing than the other parry's but costs more to use

00:10 Not sure to get the Amulat or Umbrella, watching you play might help me decide.
I liked the umbrella but i ended up not using it later on in the game - if that helps I stopped after I got a really big sword

Ok. I use the Hookshot often so I need to refill it. And any other items to kite enemies.
Tip, when you are Hotel Krat go into the training area just for a second and it will refill your blue bars.
43:50 For others, there is a consubable to refill your legion arm 'ammo'.
I actually almost never use consumables but i managed to get pretty far without doing so
At 48:00 It looks like you have used a total of 6 Quartz. Two and you bought 2 not sure where the one you got from. I am at the same place an only have 5 I believe. Not sure where I missed one.
Sometimes Quartz drops from those big tough mobs that appear out of no where you can run from them but you can also tackle them so maybe that's where one dropped

not really - its rough! The timing is like just before it hits - the arm lifting animation is when it happens Appreciate it!

How on earth did you take out the boss in a few seconds (29 A New Legends Is Born)
Viking Vigor adds a huge damage boost so when you combo it with shotguns or other abilities
To many fight animation..boring..should each skill show its own animation with command..like old FF series
yea it's not for everyone - great game for me though i think its probably more fun to play than watching but the combat is really active

I had a glass cannon build, iirc this was my first char so I was around lv 70-80 here with almost all stats in magic and faith for the Sword of Night & Flame with the stat amulets (that make you take more damage)
Easy way to beat the dragon....become one of the most powerful sorcerers in the game...then delete the dragon no problem. LOL.

You need to audio mix a bit better. At the beginning, you can hear the game sounds way too loud and they are even louder than your voice.

The audio does seem over fast and forced. The world building is clunky. The graphics and concept is fun but I'm not sure about execution
