The narc I dealt with was actually scared of me (and idk why) and only lashed out like that after I left whatever his location was. Kind of like when the narc talks behind your back trying to ruin your credibility and smear your name, that's when and how he lashed out only. He told me numerous times he felt like I was trying to control him all bc I would call him out when he lied, when he tried to lie to others, manipulate, when he was being overly sensitive to any little thing someone said or did like he never hurt anybody. Smh, he was honestly very weak and I didn't see it in the beginning ofc. But when I did, it became easy as I knew how to make him WANT to get from around me. It only worked until I finally got away from him and now I'm being stalked. He's still scared as he won't even come on the porch but chooses to drive by all day. Smh when I'm finally and completely moved away, I can only imagine the lashing out he'll do when he can't find me. I thank God everyday that I've been kept safe and sound, even having not moved away just yet.

You're absolutely correct that "healing is a choice" because you do have to make that choice. As for me, I never questioned who I was because I've always been a loving, kind, and generous person despite my narc family trying to convince me otherwise. I did blame myself for what they were doing to me and believed their lies that I was the problem. It's hard not to after years of their intense abuse!

Exactly where they get the courage to even approach my goodness the door is closed and it will stay closed.

I feel that this testing is a delusion - a game! My prayers are constant. I received a settlement to sell my home, but everything was stolen by identity thieves. No transportation and no food and no family. My age and injuries from a fall, yet healed from serious self care. I never stop going through promises from these tests that never come to past - I cannot afford to stop! My family my home, my retirement my phone and nothing available to get through . I have all this energy to get things done with disrespect and sometimes just empty promises from whoever sets the course in play. I am not stuck… I am shut out!

In my world I was very successful when I first met the psychopath 10 years ago. Needless to say everything was destroyed by the time she discarded. Afterwards the victim is left directionless and without soul. For me it was important to go through all of the pain so that I could find my soul again. The main thing that was stopping me from starting over again with success were fears and I don't know exactly where they came from but... By facing them and stepping out God was very kind to meet me immediately with very good responses. Remember no one likes you when you're with a narcissist and your whole life becomes like living under a storm cloud. Remember you are loved by many when you go back out and face those little fears that are holding you back... that were instilled in you by the narcissist. They reverse projected there mess on you and tried to walk away with your blessing which will not work for them however their soul switching and projection is also a main problem for going forward. Remember who you were before you met them and don't be afraid to step out to do your thing. You are not to carry the curses of the narcissist with you further. You will be met with wonderful responses from everyone. When you are around someone and no one likes you because of them... you will know it's another narcissist. You are loved and cherished and valued and you must remember this when stepping back up from the train wreck trying to put your life back together. After you've gotten through the pain and the trauma you'll have to remember who you once were before these people got involved in your life. It's truly a question of finding yourself again as you sacrificed everything to be with this animal. Self-care sounds like the wrong word but it's the right idea... You'll have to concentrate on helping yourself now that you spent all your energy trying to help someone who was trying to hurt you. Worse than that is your helping them left you not helping yourself. This was probably not needed before you met them but it's there now. You spent too much energy helping them and ended up sacrificing yourself by their design. Now it's time to reverse that.

Ex = Exodus, Ending, and Exit. The door is open, let them go.
