I was waiting for a few videos to render out so I shot and edited this in the mean time. I wanted to try the trendy-swhooshy-transitiony video style everyone and their dog is doing, and also I wanted to upload something with a "mamador" name, as well. You be the judge.

How Blender Is Your Ticket to a Hollywood Career
มุมมอง 7482 ปีที่แล้ว
Socials @diego_alcman @directed_by_diego Animation and Visual Effects have been part of a storyteller's arsenal as early as the first films by Georges Mellies, and even before that. At some point, however, it became more complex, more industrialized, and having access to those tools and ways of expression at a feature quality became exclusive to the members of the Hollywood club. That did not s...

Socials @diego_alcman @directed_by_diego Sup peeps, today I bring to you a short and sweet review of the Neewer motorized slider. It's a great budget buy, however it's not for everyone imo. Neewer Motorized Slider: amzn.to/3cwdCPi Controller Version: amzn.to/3p2EBrJ

Socials @diego_alcman Check out my other vids they're cool too and need love. If you read this I love u :3
I liked it. Would have continued watching if it was longer. Wish you made clearer references to the movies as I do not recognize them all.
This video has helped me conceptualize my nostalgia themed magazine for my sophomore final art project few months ago. Thanks :)
I wish the opener of this video can be the slider being used in an example rather than a talking head. We watch video in mute

what are the outer diameters of the three tubes?
How is his channel not blowing up?
Due to lack of posting, most likely 😅
Make more videos bro..this is helpfull❤
I'll definitely try!! 🙏🤩
Hello, Can you please show how did you make the set up for this effect, Pppppppplllllllllllleeeaassssseeee!!!
I used a tripod, a belt and a wide lens 😅
@@DirectedbyDiego Thank you for your reply!! May I please know if there is a way, without using any of the equipment and still get this effect🤔!?
@@sanchitgoyal2282 this might be the cheapest/easiest way. What's important is to keep the camera fixed to the actor's torso and within a good distance to see the environment around them.
I thought about this topic after seeing the Spy Kids reboot, and I began to question why modern films are unable to fully encapsulation the purity old films had. This question may simply have a pragmatic answer that's really unrelated, or it may just be that we are evolving as the industry evolves. Though I figured nostalgia can only be accomplished in film making if an element from the past is involved, that you cannot create a completely new project with an old sticker on it and call it nostalgic. That's what I fear would happen in this new Spy Kids film (if I were in the director's shoes). Everything appears modernized and there's no real reference to the past based on the trailer, recipe for disaster maybe? I love your point about cinema being nostalgia itself, because it really is true. Looking back at moments is a bittersweet feeling, especially when they're good. I tend to feel that when I look at pictures or videos of an event just a day before, which as odd as it is, very beautiful.
UPLOAD MORE MAN!
*sigh* I should 😪
thank you so much!!
This is unbelievable. Enjoy working through films that explore nostalgia! Thanks for finding me Diego.
Bought the 120mm Neweer EXR1 slider. Works very well for video, app works well, and also comes with a remote, which i do not use. For the price it performs very well.
You mean 120cm? Cause 120mm sounds pretty short lol. Still with neewer it's usually good value for the price.
Wow. I couldn't relate more to your situation sir! I am a Filmmaker who lived through both sides of "stress" and even though I had some good general habits like working out and eating healthy food, I always dreamed of going back to my once happy place which was "gaming" again. But I haven't figured out a solution to that, because, for me, there isn't yet a healthy implementation of gaming in my life. When I start to play video games again, I am always so euphoric, but my brain quickly adapts to this new dopamine source. I always end up slowly dropping important stuff and by around the two-week mark, I get lazy again. Then I'll always get angry with myself and drop gaming completely for the next year until my mind has marinated me enough to give it another try 😂 I wonder what the perfect middle ground would look like.
lol something similar happend to me recently. I took a break from gaming because I needed to focus. However I hope to get back to it soon. Now the thing that grounds me is exercise. If you look at your workout performance like the stats of a game it becomes more enjoyable, at least to me lol
what tripods did you get for the slider?
Neewer carbon fiber tripods
how did you get that solid snorricam shot of yours?!
I used a tripod and two belts lol
Love your explanation
Thank you!!
whats the 2 tripod you use in 4:12 ?
two neewer carbon fiber tripods, same brand and color scheme as the slider
Very informative! Gonna watch all your videos now!
You are too kind!! More videos coming soon 🙌🤩
nice dude
Thanks bruh 🙏🙌
Nice video, this review deserves more views man. I will like the video and subscribe to help the algorithm. Great Job man.
You're too kind my man!! I really appreciate it 🙏👌
Put the drink down... It looks like you dont care.
Noted, thanks 😅🙏
People take drinking very personal hence if you aint drinking, meaning you don't care about the drink so you'd better put it down.
Just bought this one last week and so far, I'm very impressed with it. I've made a couple of my own but I could never find the right motor to run it... tried a few. At the time, buying one was way more than I wanted to spend. This one was the right price on line.
a DIY solution sounds super interesting. But yeah, this little slider gets the job done and it's pretty affordable 👌

¡Buenísimo! no me dedico a nada del cine pero me pareció brutal. Hay una escena buenísima de Kung Pow donde hacen tomas y cortes a la lengüilla esa que me parece de Oscar
Wey :) gracias por el comment prro 😍

Great video Diego, I loved 1917 because they made it look like 1 shot! Makes you appreciate the effort & planning they put into it
Yep, I consider long takes to be cinema at it’s finest. It takes so much planning to execute, but the movement and dynamism makes the film come alive in my opinion. I may be exaggerating tho haha
I think the "show-off" element is relevant when adding a long take. Some are exceptional narrative-wise, but others are meant for the flex, don't you think? I have nothing against that since I believe cinema is a whim, but to me, that distinguishes normal long takes from sublime long takes.
I do enjoy long takes regardless of it’s intention. However, I appreciate when they have a clear narrative purpose. The flex is pretty dope tho
La favorita del youtube naranja. Puro arte.

quality content. loving it.

Haha man, I recognize myself in your situation. The amount of times when getting a new assignment by a client, and I don't have 'that one specific thing', just to get one shot, my brain makes up an excuse to buy it. Also, that Helios lense is veery nice! Great video Diego
Yep, gear is always a great excuse. I’ve been putting aside a short film I want to make because I want to shoot it with a bigger camera. And yep, that helios is pure cinematic goodness :)
Lovin the series 🙌🏼
Love yo ass bro 🙏💯
Story is king, not gear :)
Awesome animated examples <3
