To me it's the needless convoluted nature of modern Kill Team...it started as a Beer and Pretzels skirmish game, I remain hopeful that this new version is a return to that, if not the mass migration to One Page Rules Skirmish will continue.

Depends when it releases and my budget at the time. I played some of the most recent kill team in the early point of the edition. I do like the idea of a box I can get and then play as a self contained unit so to speak. At some point down the line grab another kill team and go. I just hope that gw can support the game with enough units out there. It's no good if I can't get hold of it to me is it. I also want to support my local independent shops over ordering direct from the web store on a Saturday.

I appreciate the positive tone. It looks like they've cleaned up some of the things about KT21 that I didn't love--particularly the shape symbols for measurements! Looking forward to seeing the rules.

Kill Team, like Warhammer Underworlds is a good toe dipper into the hobby and is a great self contained game ready to go. Hopefully GW will manage the stock of future expansions better than before. It’s good how it’s also different to Combat Patrol.

I think in the 30+ years I have been playing GW games there have been approximately 6,329 "make or break" releases for GW.....

Great job! Usually what I do when I do a metallic undercoat is prime it silver or gold, throw a shade all over the model, then add the dry brush and finally contrast paint. It’s just one extra step, but I find it helps give the armor some nice depth :)

I started in 2nd ed, really started playing properly in 3rd so those two editions are my nostalgia. On balance though, I think I agree with Rob- there's never been a better time to engage with 40k. Here's a few points I thought of- feel free to ding when you read them 😂 - Gw are managing game balance more proactively than ever. - 40k is at peak popularity right now, post covid boom etc. That means you get to meet and play a wider range of opponents. - Model/paint technology is at the best level it has been. - The community is more diverse and generally very friendly and supportive. - Tournaments and events are generally a very sporting experience, I think standards of behaviour in the competitive scene have evolved quite a lot in the last few years. - We also have more choice of events as the game grows more popular.

Maybe don’t make political statements about your audience. You could try and be a bit more diplomatic about it and just say “it doesn’t matter” or “don’t get so worked up about it”

Cool fact: Only the Supreme Grand Master (currently Azrael) knows that Luther is alive inside the Rock, and they used to speak regularly when Azrael needed advice and guidance. Recently, upon the opening of the Cicatrix Maledictum, some daemons attacked the Rock and stole Luther away, probably against his own will. I, for one, am really looking forward to see the Lion and Luther reunite.

Liked the video, but could barely hear the voice over the music. Also if memory serves the flaw in the dark angels gene seed may be psychological, such as paranoia.
