The Goo Loo is superior because it uses Lithium Polymer batteries as opposed to Lithium Ion. Polymers are used in high end RC cars and have a much higher energy density than Ion. That's also why it's so small, to be so big. And, high end Lithium Polymer batteries hold their charge almost forever. I had a Goo Loo 3,000 (also LIPO batteries) sitting in the back of a Jeep for three years, and in the winter of that third year the Jeeps battery went bye, bye. I dug out the Goo Loo and it still showed a full charge. After sitting through two winters? I started wondering if the gauge was working correctly. It was and it not only started the Jeep, but it spun it really fast and it started right up. And the Goo Loo only lost one bar, after sitting for three years. That ended the Jump Box wars for me. Similarly, I had a different car I left something on in and killed it's battery. I had a giant NOCO jump starter in it and it was dead from sitting. After only a year. I gave the NOCO away and bought another Goo Loo. All four of my cars now have Goo Loo 4,000's in them, except for that one Renegade with the 3,000 in it. You can't go wrong with a Goo Loo jump starter. I even bought one for my shop, they have a ton of cars they have to start and use it almost every day. But don't ask me about their cordless tire pump. It is not readable in use and I don't think they actually make them.
