I noticed you're running the vanilla bash shell. I've seen zsh provides better completions and overall better ecosystem. You can actually get a cool-looking shell from Dreams of Autonomy's ZSH config video.

UEFI/GPT systems are not affected by this, because Petya begins encrypting after the boot sector encryptor loads. Many removed it by immediately booting into the Windows installer disc, without getting to the CHKDSK payload first. But, on UEFI systems, it's impossible to run the encryptor boot sector program, so you can just boot into your Windows disc and run bootrec /fixboot, bootrec /fixmbr, and bootrec /rebuildbcd

I averaged the CPU% before and after and this is what i found. Before the change the average cpu% is 9% And after the change the average cpu% is 16.26% So your computer actually slows down after the changes. Kinda weird? that this "script" was made to increase the performance but it actually slow down the computer. Oh and also why are you running this in a VM?

@@KakunExecutedBatchYou may want to add a warning as this script is quite unsafe to run. Disabling some of these services could break some apps and possibly your os. bcdedits (and registry edits sometimes) are quite risky and can be a pain to fix. Just a word of warning because you may get less tech savvy users (who don't use vms) blame you for bricking their os. Nonetheless, Cool script.
Thanks for the file! *Possible issue:* Apparently it is not compatible with Japanese and Chinese IME services as my IME process heats up to 15% of CPU and no IME shown :c *Solution:* Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service was set back to manual, and the IME reappeared. Apparently it is dependent on some libraries from this service.
