Hunter Ornate Reverse Air original ceiling fan
Noisier then my other originals, This one’s from 1982, halls a grape leaf ornate bottom plate, got this in trade from Jack. It’s in my dining room, took my mom a lot of convincing to get her to agree to me putting this up! But I love it here and it’s STAYING

2 speed 1980 Hunter Original ceiling fan

Serial "L", from 1980, 2 speed, no reverse. Has a double off position leviton switch. Runs flawlessly. Picked up locally off Craigslist.

Recently acquired from a local collector. Very nice condition given its age, this fan used to be a slumber quiet model, however as to be expected with early 80’s SQ board equipped fans, this one’s SQ control was blown upon Jacks arrival, as well as mine. This was a trade from him to me, his end got a Zephyr. This fan has been fixed and converted to a slumber 3. Runs perfectly fine

Had this for three years now… just now getting the urge to install it. Dates to 1979 and is powered by a K63 motor. Typical BUZZZZ going on here, yeah yeah I know! Hangtru doesn’t match, my canopy/bracket and down rod are somewhere in storage. Hangtru works fine for now. 👍🏻

This turned into a project that ended royally failing on… as I explain I tried to conduct a motor swap but left out some key parts and ended up messing up the look and the switch housing is kinda messed up, the capacitor is fading and overall this was a total fail …

This fan is in my mom’s room, I installed it in 2018 for her. It originally had pretzel irons but those unfortunately snapped off so I put regular irons on it. This fan is broken, sometimes it stalls out and doesn’t t even start, on occasion you have to mess with the reverse switch a few times or wiggle and kinda twist the switch housing a little and the fan kicks on like normal.

This is in the game room at my friend Jack’s house, it has a broken slumber quiet crontrol but he put a variable speed wall control in for this to run better. 👍🏻

Got this brand new in the box for $5, it runs fine, just sounds like one’s average Heritage, high seems to be the quieter speed of them all. Not a bad fan over all, I’d rate this unit a 6.5/10. (What can ya ask from a Heritage tho)? 😂

I believe it’s labeled Texas central fans and lighting or maybe Texas ceiling fans, anyways it’s one of those mass produced cheaply made builder fans contractors use to put new in newly built homes, surprisingly this one has lasted real well over its life since new in 1997. This fan was installed by the builders who built my parents house.

Yep I realized after needing new irons it would look like one, so that’s why I added that light kit

Whoa, The Panama II can be installed with 4 BLADES??? I thought they were 5 blade ONLY... So all your fans, with the exception of the Mission and the Delta II are 4 blade?
Pretty much all panamas are 4/5 blade. Maybe the newer ones they offer now for like 600 bucks are 5 only because I believe those ones all have direct drive power.
I enjoyed it. And I assume that once you added the oil it took care of the noise and made the fan spin smoothly
