1/2 is sufficient thickness, and a lot lighter. Good quality baltic birch, which I use for making drawers, is a great choice. Weight is everything.

I would've put the water inlet at the top of the tank so the water source doesn't have to contend with water pressure when filling the tank.

This was truly a crappy subject. 😂. I plan to get this toilet when I get a van, maybe even sooner. I live in a 5th wheel and I need a new toilet.

I know you mentioned not to overtighten metal fittings in plastic tanks, but it's beat to avoid it altogether. Use plastic fittings in plastic tanks. Additionally I would have put some cushions under your straps holding your tank in place. Don't want any risk of the sharp edges wearing out the tank.

I like that you used rustoleum on the drilled holes. Also that you preinstalled the plastic washers for the passenger side. Just wondering if you could have drilled a new hole to get even spacing on the brackets. Maybe not needed? Thanks for the video!

Don’t mind if I do!!! Also, have you thought about adding some cold water to your boiling water to even out the temp so that you can pour the water down the drain straight away instead of waiting and potentially overcooking the pasta? The last thing you need is chef yelling about overcooked pasta.

Super awesome install video. I got some running boards myself, but I consistently ran slower every time I tried running with them. Using them on the van is definitely a better idea! 5/5 stars!
