POV: YOU'RE A MUSIC PRODUCER IN MEXICO. New MACBOOK, switched to FL STUDIO. Weekly vlog.
Just a week in my life as a producer here in Mexico. Had to say goodbye to Logic Pro and switched over to FL Studio. I must say that making beats in FL is like playing a video game. My verdict is that FL excels and is indeed the better DAW for beat-making, but Logic is the more efficient DAW for mixing and mastering. Guess I'm team FL now lol.

Think this was always my biggest lesson. 18 wanted to sound like Travis Scott. As I grew in my music, realized my sound is my sound. Course I have influences but I feel as producers our best work will always be the work that's genuine. Famous writer dude Kurt Voneget said Write to please just one person. If you open a window and make love to the world, so to speak, your story will get pneumonia. Stuck with me

Also decided to push myself more towards music, keen on seeing how your journey unfolds. I didn't have the nuts when I was younger and only now I'm realizing it was a mistake. Very interesting watching you document your journey for sure. You've 100% done the right thing no matter where it takes or doesn't take you. Thanks so much man that’s so nice of you to take the time to say that. Not doing music was definitely my last regret in life. A big weight off the shoulders for sure. Just gotta create from a positive mental space so you don’t be all stressed out or anxious cuz then it turns into misery. Thanks for following my journey brother.
I think you've got the attitude right which means no matter the level of your success you'll come out a winner. I try to give my time when I see a genuine person going for it because I think a sense of community is very important. Cheers dude, see you around!
Compression is everybody's weakness mate. It's hard to grasp. I feel like getting it is one of if not the biggest gap between beginners and pros. I'm definitely still a student after years of making music.
Have you checked out the TH-cam channel “mastering.com” they do a good job explaining it but yea I was messing around with it last night and gonna keep mixing today

Hi! I live in Tanzania, Grew up in Germany and wanted to make music since I heard my first Genetikk Album. From that time on I was changed, but never was brave enough to actually pursue it. I am 22 now, so I am young enough and from July on, I am completely focussed on music. Ill start a label with some of my friends, but I aint got no back up plan also. I have to make it work within a few months till my money runs dry, that I got from a Sales Job in the Tourism business from before. Id love to connect and share experiences! Logic User too!
