Does anyone know what happens when a case settles for example for $4 million dollars but your malpractice only covers lets say $3Mil? Like who forks up the $1mil? And, can they go after your savings account etc?
There are two numbers in your med mal policy. The first is per claim and the second is for total claims per policy period. So, if your policy covers 3M and your case settles for 4M then you are responsible for the remaining 1M. My contact says most people have 1M and 3M coverage. So, it's more possible that you would be responsible for the 3M because it is per claim made. Now, that is why it is SUPER important to have stuff in place to cover your personal assets. This is why you need an attorney to set this up ahead of time. You might need to have everything in a trust or something like that. Hope this helps. Hi, Your video is really good. But views and subscribers are much lower. You need to do channel SEO to increase subscribers and views, meaning your videos are not fully SEO. If you optimize your video properly, Your channel will grow organically.
