I'm thinking a couple things. 1. Could there be an Indian settlement not too far away and this was used as a look out post? 2. Could this ruin have been a link in a series of other look out posts that were in sight of each other?
Your videos are greatly missed. You have the best scenic shots. I am going to rewatch all of them again.
Love the content, and hope you stick to it, really great videos! You have to make weekly content, which is arduous but gains subscribers! Wishing you the best and will be following your adventures! 🤞💙🌿
so where is the 'map' to find the Map? that did not require a map for anyone who would be where the so called 'map' is, would also know where the water is. silly
It looks like they would enter the canyon from the south and would pass by the "map" on the way. Where the canyon takes the sharp corner it also flattens out and is much easier to exit the canyon and continue north. If the map wasn't there they would definitely miss the water holes. Thanks for joining my adventure!
Just found your channel. I am really enjoying the content.
@@Gail-ux2ly thanks for joining my adventures!
What great adventure! I am fascinated by the geology of that place - all that gnarly rock sitting on top of the sandstone. I'm no geologist but some of it looks volcanic and some metamorphic - it's a crazy jumble! Do you know what the formation is?
Thanks! The geology here is bizarre! The volcanic rock is basalt but very unformed and chunky! It did make an amazing alcove to build in! Thanks for joining the adventure!
I'm so glad to see your new channel! You are great- welcome back! And this is a fantastic video! It sure looks like you decoded that petroglyph as a map. I'm blown away.
@@DV14502 the toughest part was forgetting they didn’t use north as the top of the map they used the sun! Makes sense! I may go back and look for camps at some point! I’m glad you found my channel! It is growing very slowly! And thanks for joining my adventure!
The def😅of butte is a LIE. Nothing around that butte is volcanic especially the rocks. Take a picture from a distance with a drone and LOOK at it. NEVER ever a volcano and those are NOT volcanic rocks. If you LOOK with open mind and open eyes you will SEE a giant Petrified Tree Stump. People are so deaf dumb and blind. And you're teaching your son LIE'S. Father ordered his angels to cut down and uproot all giant trees from our Bible from right before the great flood so the Nephilim could not climb up to escape their fate. Plateaus are Giant Petrified Tree Stumps. The so called craters they wMt us to believe are meteor craters are the Giant UPROOTED TREES. If earth were a ball especially a spinning ball those craters would never ever be straight 90° angles. People don't THINK THINK. THEY DON'T SEE. IF YOU BELIEVE IN OUR BIBLE AND OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND SON THEN YOU CANNOT BELIEVE THE 🐂 💩 THAT NASA SPEWS. TAKE A PICTURE AND COMPARE IT TO A RECENT TREE STUMP AND SEE THE TRUTH. COMPARE THESE PICS TO REAL PICTURES OF LAVA. THEY DON'T COMPARE. DEVILS TOWER IS NOT LAVA OR A DORMANT VOLCANO. DEVILS TOWER IS A GIANT PETRIFIED TREE STUMP. IT SICKENS ME TO SEE HOW DUMBED DOWN AND BLIND THEY HAVE MADE PEOPLE. TAKE OFF THE BLINDERS AND BREAK THE CHAINS AROUND YOUR MIND!!!!!!. You have a great video, too bad there are lie's in it. How did it become FLAT, bcuz it was a giant tree the angels cut down before NOAHS FLOOD.
Good job😀👍

It is an impressive location! I have tried twice to get there. I will get to them! Maybe once it cools down again! Thanks for joining the adventure!
It's a map.
Thanks! I think so also!
hike ? i hear highway traffic you can't be that far off road /
About 1/2 mile in with an elevation gain of 500ft. Short hike! It's about discovery of ancient ruins! Thanks for watching!
Nice video , that mixed rock is a type of conglomerate I had asked a geologist once about it on a gold claim we had I honestly can't remember how it's formed, basically a bunch of different rock in a big event all got stuck together after it all cooled.Thats my truck driver version 😂
Cool! That's my engineering version!
Nice ruins ,maybe the extra rock in the middle of the one could have been a fireplace. Good camera work panning slowly, enjoyed ,new subscriber.
Thanks for the comment! The walls of the upright ruin were rebuilt recently, but the site itself was an ancient ruin! Glad you joined my adventure and PM me if you want to collaborate!
Awesome! I wonder what it looked like when the people lived there with different vegetation
Thanks! I'm happy you enjoyed the video! I'm trying to get monetized so I can get a piece of software to help us all visualize what this might have looked like! Please think about subscribing if you liked the content! Thanks for joining the adventure!
Hope You Enjoy the adventure!
The way the rocks are stacked look like a house of cards.
Yeah, I'm sure the rock walls that were standing were more recently stacked. The site was absolutely an ancient ruin though. Thanks for joining the adventure!
@@-JoinMyAdventures I would have to 100% agree, Some stone have that look, Thanks.

Man o' man, you get the award for uphill climber and bushwhacker! Did you find this on google earth or just go on a hunch? That is quite the ancient fortress ruin and I concur, someone took it upon themselves to stack some rocks. Very obvious because the restacked stones just don't fit in. This is quite a find and thanks for the adventure. Till next time, adios amigo!
Thanks for the Bushwacker Award! I did find this on GoogleEarth, but it was not obvious whether it was manmade or not. The wall was single rock width, where most in the area I search in are double stacked with small stones inside for stability! Thanks for joining the adventure! See you next time!
WOW just beautiful canyon and find, stay hydrated out there.

Beautiful landscape. Interesting on the map too
Thanks for joining the adventure again!
Looks convincing to me. The facts that there's frogs in the canyon telle me that there's water year round
Agreed! Thank you for joining the adventure!
Well sorted, rounded rocks, (by water) wave action on a shallow ocean floor, sedimentary rock sandstone caliche. This Ocean floor pushed up, then eroded over Millions of years and cut by a river channel down through the layers. that's my guess but what do I know thank you the map was spot on. I don't like snakes either. stay safe ALL
@@davec9244 that canyon has seen plenty of water over the millennia! Thanks for joining the adventure!
very cool video
Thanks for joining the adventure!
I saw on a TV show a year or two ago that someone was proposing that at least some of the Nazca lines may have been maps or markings to help locate water sources.
That is cool, the native peoples new their natural surroundings but still probably needed help when in new areas. Thanks for joining my adventure!
Nailed it. All the pools lined up.
Thanks for joining the adventure! It was a little different this week. Hope you enjoyed it!
Hey amigo! In my humble opinion you are spot on and did an outstanding job of super imposing the petroglyph onto the actual canyon. I know Enigma Clandestino came up with the same conclusion regarding petroglyphs and maps. Of course the natives who pecked out this map had to use memory and therefore it was/is not perfect, but the jist is definitely there. What an amazing adventure and finding the water plus the water holes was the icing on the cake! Great narration and explanations. Thanks and looking forward to your next video adventure! Adios!
Thanks! I'll have to look back at some of my other pictures of petroglyphs to see if some of the symbols match up. Thanks for joining the adventure!
Thanks, that was fun. Sure looks like a map to me! Great stuff, keep ‘um coming! Stay safe.
Thanks! that's 4 votes for Map! Glad you joined the adventure!
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. What a beautiful landscape and that map was amazing!
Do you think it was a map or coincidence? The sun symbol was on top of the panel so I had to rotate the satellite image to orient north to the bottom. Thanks for joining my adventure!
I think the petroglyph was so similar to the trail it couldn’t have been a coincidence. My guess is map.

Another great find!
Thanks again!
Amazing ruins! This looks like another native constructed defensive tel. The man hours that went into building this structure is mind boggling. Did they foray out daily for water, to hunt, to raise corn and squash near the creek? Those petroglyphs are outstanding, lots to ponder there. Another fabulous adventure! Thank you for all your efforts and look forward to what's next.
After the ruin, I dropped into the creek below! Not an easy trek, about 500 feet down in elevation. That’s where the petroglyphs were. Thanks for joining my adventures!
