You did not show how to remount the motor shaft gear after putting the armature back into the motor frame. How is that gear secured to the shaft? If the gear slips on the shaft how is that fixed? Tell us the whole story. I sent my super motor to a guy in PA to fix due to an exploded commutator. Got it back, motor runs fine. Put engine (Lionel No 8) on the track with 3 cars like it used to run. It went 5 ft and stopped. That motor shaft gear is slipping. That guy never tested it under load.

Great video. However, you misspelled Mr. Pettijohn's first name in two different ways. His first name is Caryl (pronounced like carol). In the description, it's misspelled "Carly" and in the graphics at the start of the video it's "Carol". Caryl is a national treasure in the world of standard gauge - hope you can fix those mistakes.

Just a question Harry. I see the event runst from 10:00 to 12:00 at the shop in Lansdale. Does everyone meet at the shop and then convoy to the Old Train Barn? Never having been before I have to ask. (Finding the Train Barn's no problem, I can map search directions.)
