    Iba po ata Sir yung description ng Abutment from NBCP Glossary. Sa pagkakaintindi ko, ang Firewall po ay isang uri ng abutment. Correct me po if I'm wrong. ABUTMENT - A form of a semi-permanent or permanent structure constructed along a property line, usually of masonry or reinforced concrete or other fire-rated material where absolutely no form of permitted opening, whether temporary/permanent or operable/inoperable, is allowed on it. A vent well with a clear width of 1.00 meter is the only permitted opening in an abutment or firewall.

    thanks, Sir! very informative for me as a graphic designer. May I ask po if pwede bang mag tayo ng billboard ng finished projects ang architecture firm? Coz hindi sya exaggerated, misleading, self laudatory since ginawa na man talaga ng architect. Thus, factual. Just photos with names of the projects, then name and contact detail ng firm. Also, the billboard is not paid advertising since the firm mismo ang gumastos ng infrastructure or hindi sya nag bayad ng existing billboard company. Did i get your point pi ba, Sir?

      @@thechisensei the villboard mentioned in the code of ethics refers to a site billboard during construction that will comply with dimension prescribe by the 2004 R-IRR of PD 1096. As to the Architects advertisement, it says that it must be in a modest manner. Hence, porfolio is one amomg those in a modest maddest. If your do your advertisement thru bill board either electronically or not like what is posted along edsa, that is already considered commercialism which does not fit to the standard test prescribe by the 2006 code of Ethics.

    Maestro sa mga residential subdivision, marami po ang wlang building permit pag renovate ng mga bahay lalo n sa middle to low class residences. Malalaman m n wla kc una lagpas n sa sidewalk ung structure nila, wla n dn po setback... Di nmn binibisita ng OBO ang mga residential areas. Kng may mag apply lng.. Pro parang mga kabayo sa kalesa n may piring ang mga mata. D daw nakikita ung mga bahay n lagpas n sa property line at wla pang setback....

    good day sir.....ako po ay isa po ako sa nag review sa inyo noong june 2023 ALE.....at sa awa ng dios ok naman ang pag review ko sa inoy....hindi po nasasayang.....tanong ko lng po sir dahil isa na po ako baguhang architect......papano kung ako ang nagpapatayo ng bahay....at bilang architect ako na po ang nag design nito....hindi ba ito magka conflict sa box 5 sa building permit application kung ako mismo ang pipirma sa plano at sa building pernit application form?

    When construction firm hires an architect and an engr as part of the team to do design and build projects, and may monthy salary po sila. Do you also need to pay them for their sign and seal or any percentage like yung 6 percent na by law?

      @@LorlyDuaman yes. Pag hindi ka nag start ng Construction from issuance after 1 year it expires. If nag start ka ang nag stop for 120 days it expires.

    Good day Maestro, It seems that the 1.3 fees (20K for schematics and design dev) was a typo error and not included in the total 189,750 php APF? as noted in formula page 4 of 9 although this was posted 4years ago, regardless if the 20K included or not, this shows that this is way cheaper compared to a percentage basis of getting 10% from the construction cost say 200sqm x 25k (if 4 years ago) = 5M (which is 500K APF including allied profs) if 20k included: 211.75K APF for 200sqm = 1058.75 per sqm or almost 4.2+% from the usual 10% by the book Thank you and more power!

    Thank you Maestro, dami nmn natotonan sa inyo. Ang hirap grumaduate sa Architecture ng kulang sa kaalaman😅, buti na lng meron katulad nyo ang nagsishare ng knowledge🙏. Sa inyo ko rin natutunan ang tamang pagsingil ky client, very helpful at tlgang naippaliwanag ko sa client ng maayos🙏. May tanong sana ako maestro. Since 2022 nag start na ako mag freelance, acknowledgement receipt p lng ang kaya ko ibigay sa client. Paano or ano po ba requirement para makakuha ng sariling OFFICIAL RECEIPT? Diba iba po ang pag apply ng Freelance Architect sa Contractor dahil ang contractor ay for business? Tsaka ang office ko ay sa mismong bahay p lng😅. Hopefully masagot nyo po tanong ko.       @@blackhunter4600 apply ka sa BIR, check mo sa likod ng form "Practice of Profession".. Pag okay na and approved na, apply ka ng authority to print receipts, tapos pag ma approved punta ka sa printing press with that authority.. Pa pagawa ka na Service Invoice... Yan na ngayon ang term.. Hind na Official Receipt.

    Magandang service i-cater to sa mga client nowadays like renovations, extensions, small houses and like. Since medyo skeptic sila (clients) sa mga contractors (na tinakatakasan daw o iniiwanan un gawa nila), or namamahalan sila. Kaysa naman lumapit sila (clients) sa mga illegal practitioners. Just my opinion and observations. Big thanks Maestro! Marami ako natutunan dito sa channel mo.

    Mastro Naguguluhan lang po ako ng Kaunti don kasi sa iang Vlog mo regarding sa Architects ay dina kailangan kumuha ng PCAB, pag sila ang mismong Mag Build ng Structure na Design niya, Tapos sa isang Video mo na hindi pwedi mag Act as Contractor dapat Arvhitect by Administrator kalang. kasi pag ikaw pinag Build ni Ckient matik mag aact ka as Contractor kasi ayaw nila ng paisa isa ng Bayad. gusto nila sarileng Tao mo lahat ikaw ang mag Bu build. pano po pag ganun kailangan mo naba kumuha ng PCAB?

      The correct term should be in the Design - Build Services ng Architect ay "Design and Management Service". Kaya nagkakagulo sa services dahil ang gumawa nila design and build or design build, so it was misunderstood always that the Architect is same as Contractor. The formula shoild be SPP 202 + SPP 204B = DBS by Administration. So dahil management ka lang and all the funds is directly came from the Owner, wala ka need ng PCAB because you are really into contracting bu more on Management.. Pag nag contractor ka na, doon lg magkaka PCAB ka dahil hindi ka na limited sa management in a fiduciary capacity.

    Ser, yun po kuya ko nag pataas at nag lagay ng slub , pumantay po sa aming second floor yun biga nila , pero senaraduhan nila yun bintana namin , kase yun pader namin dinatigan nila ng pader , kaya daw sinarhan nila dahil pader daw nila yon , Yun po proferty ay sa pero karil na una po kami ng 15 yrs na mag pabahay , Tama poba yon ginawa nila sarhan bintana nmin , wala mpo papasok na hangin at wala narin po firewall

    Sir Masestro... Mejo magulo talaga yan SPP natin about sa Design and build n yan pagdating na sa actual practice e. Kasi may mga clients na ayaw sa system ntin about jan s D&B practice ntin kasi mas costly nga nmn kung magbabayad sya ng Certain percentage para sa architect for Design and build by management then may certain percentage din para sa contractor's profit. Then may mga clients din talaga n mas prefer nila at mas tiwala na ung architect n din ang kumontrata ng project kasi wala n sila time for frequent disbursement ng pera para sa materials purchasing , sa payroll and so on. Kasi same din lang nmn na yung professional fee mo at ung contractor's profit, sa total construction cost din nkabase. Then ung sinasabing vested or conflict of interest.. sa tingin ko lahat nmn cguro ng architect ayaw din ng masisira sila sa client nila e...Sorry po for my tele-novela like comment..point of view ko lang po..hehe

      @@ceromram Civil engineers and Architects can contract design and build without need of PCAB in the exercise of their profession, and not as contractors. So if you have problem later, you will be the complainant and your complaint is not at PCAB but at PRC.
