Max Pump Pressure on My 3025D
มุมมอง 264ปีที่แล้ว
Using a Bluetooth pressure transducer from Transducers Direct, model info below. At idle it was at 2583psi and 2630psi at full throttle. Now since pressure is a created by restricting fluid flow, I wonder what the pressure will be in the summertime when the oil flows easier than in the winter. I will check it again this summer or after I have been working the tractor for a few continuous hours ...
Issues with the Tiller, shearing bolts and grass build up.
มุมมอง 223ปีที่แล้ว
With using this tiller some of the issues I am having is tines breaking bolts that I think is from hitting stones. Another issue is with all of the grass that has been tilled it keeps making rows the grass clods will lift the tiller and not allow it to till as deep as I would like. Not to mention all of the bailing twine that gets picked up, on the plus side the field is getting cleaned up.
Did What I Didn't Want To Do
มุมมอง 895ปีที่แล้ว
I purchased a 6' tiller because I couldn't rent one. This tractor hasn't had an issue pulling it. I normally pull it in 1st or 2nd gear low range. Worked this area in a few hours and I am happy with the results. The only complain at this point is the big field stones that could cause issues in the future, but so far so good right now.
Plow back together and pulling the disc out of the weeds.
มุมมอง 297ปีที่แล้ว
Put the plow back together and finished what I started in the hay field. Pulled the old disc out of the weeds and started using it to try to get this part knocked down.
Another day with things breaking!!!!
มุมมอง 426ปีที่แล้ว
Well I thought it would be a good idea to get part of this hay field useable since part of it hasn't been cut in years. Did not expect the plow to break on me. I almost got the tractor stuck but thankfully got it out.

John Deere 3025D is repaired, easy fix
มุมมอง 671ปีที่แล้ว
The noise I was hearing was the front axle moving forward and backwards. The dealer took the end play out and no more noise. I guess the sound was easy to hear on the left side of the tractor.
B oil system and 3025D update; I may have broke it!!!
มุมมอง 398ปีที่แล้ว
The oil system is pulled from the B and I have take the 3025D to the dealer to find out if the issue I am having is covered under warrenty. The block is back from the machine shop and waiting on the crank and rods. Now I need to get the case and oil system parts cleaned so I can start reassembling the engine on the B. Once I hear back from JD on the D i will update you on what was found and if ...
1951 John Deere B cam Removal

Removing the cam so it can be sent out to be reground. I did not use scotch write to clean the block. It was 000 steel wool, my bad. The block and crank are going to be machined and hopefully done in the next month. Next I will get the lubrication system removed and everything cleaned up.
1951 John Deere B crank Removal

Finally got the crank removed. Now to get it to the machine shop and get it turned. Hopefully I will find out how the block is and if it is worth using.
1951 John Deere B Driver Disc/Belt Pulley Removal
มุมมอง 2Kปีที่แล้ว
Sorry it has been a while since posting a video. This one is how to remove the clutch driver disc and the belt pulley. I am planning on doing shorter videos so people do not have to dig so much to find information. I still haven't heard anything back on the block. Fingers crossed it is still good to use.
John Deere 3025D with $40 Snow Plow
มุมมอง 3.7Kปีที่แล้ว
Trying out the 7'6" snow plow that i have made fit on my 3025D. I still need to purchase some cylinders for the power angle and some shoes so I don't dig everything up. It seems to work and if we get some heavy snow I will be sure to try it out on that.
'51 John Deere B, This is Getting Expensive
มุมมอง 1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Well, where to start. Water in cylinder 2 when pulling the head off. Now I'm tearing the block off to have it checked for cracks and then hopefully boring it over. Now I need to pull the crank out and have it turned. I'm already this deep I might as well do it all.The bad thing is this was not my plan, but I want to make sure this is going to last for another 70 years.
'48 B Down to the Block, Rebuilt - I Don't Think So!!
มุมมอง 1.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Removed the frame from the '48 B. There is a heavy ridge in the cylinders. I was told that this engine was rebuilt and had low hours. I guess someones idea of a rebuild is not the same as mine.

My neighbor gave me the composter dirt from his winter feeding area for my garden . I had strings forever. Run anything with a shank on it like a chisel, and you can catch a lot of them before you use the tiller. I had to clean them off the chisel every little bit. Then I walked the area and picked the up. But anything will work, like putting the scarifiers down on a box blade. My family always took the strings off of hay prior to feeding.

Thanks for the information. Mine started acting erratic then started to auto close. It is clearly under load like one of the coils is stuck on. Thought it might be moisture since we just got a lot af rain. One of the buttons feels different compared to the other which is the button that is auto closing, bitton was very sensitive. Checked continuity on both micro switches and they are good. One of the coils has continuity and the other one doesn't seem to have continuity, but its tough to get to upside down. Switched coil plugs and the bottom is now staying engaged, but still Auto closing. Im going to double check control plugs and wire splices for moisture before taking the solenoid valve apart to check for clogs, debris or anything strange., That may be causing power to stay engaged. At least now, I know what I'm looking for because of your video. So thanks. 🙏

    • @TheCC89
      @TheCC89 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

I think I've narrowed it down to a faulty micro switch. Continuity readings were getting erratic until the point it just wouldn't give me a constant reading compared to the other one. Summit 3rd function kit is just under 2 yrs old.

Had my 3025d for several years. And it has done many little jobs over the years. I have alll the tires filled with fluid and wheel weights all the way around. Last time checked drive on scale, it read 8,941 lbs. So no little car haul trailer is going to carry it so easy. But with weight this little tractor can easily carry a round bale. It can also pull a small 3 bottom plow. Breaking ground a 2 bottom is doable.

I have a 3025D as well, but my manual says to change oil at 400 hours. On page 35, it only tells me to check levels and add if needed. I called the dealer and asked them, they confirmed the first oil change wasn't due until 400 hours. My tractor is now 2 years old, but it only has 50 hours on it. Maybe I need to go ahead and change it? I find it odd that my operating manual would be different from yours. I certainly didn't expect the dealer to agree with 400 hours.

With my experience with oil it should be engine hours or time. Once the oil is exposed to oxygen then it starts to degrade, the additives can deplete over time and make the oil not the same as it was originally. I would rather change it early for a cost on my end vs the oil loosing some of its properties and causing extra wear on my engine.
