@@AdrianBrown-Rev that was in the first match cause they considered summons an item they have now since re-evaluated how that in there conmentary for this fight thats why it was mentioned in the stats it just wasnt in the animation

If Link had the full Triforce, he'd probably have been unstoppable. If he had the Magic Armor from Wind Waker, he'd be invunerable with Chateau Romani.

@@AdrianBrown-Rev Cloud has a de-barrier spell that breaks magical defenses and immunities and the shield spell also makes him immune to all non-elemental damage, and you can gain elemental damage immunity through other means Link had the armor they just didn't show it just like Cloud had Summons but we didnt get a 20 minute animation of Link being transported to another dimension and getting the crud beat out of him by Knights of the round as they all destroyed him and the dimensional space they are in. Basically, other than the full tri-force, anything Link has Cloud can either match or bypass, and since the full triforce isn't really part of his full arsenal because he has the tri-force of courage, ganon has the tri-force of power and Zelda has wisdom, usually link gets the tri-force makes 1 wish and gets rid of it, so at that point obviously wasn't given to him. Which is why it came down to speed and strength because ultimately they both have equivalent arsenals. Cloud's Materia and Materia combinations sound simple because hey more spells and more commands, but they are so varied it is actually nuts when you really look into them. Also if you look closely and listen closely right before Fierce Diety you hear the "heal from death" thing trigger. So he took fatal damage when Cloud redirected the lightning attack. Edit: as far as the supernova goes, it is actually there. The only people who say otherwise are just trying to low ball FF Characters. Edit 2: the cloak also uses magic and remember to read the captions as much of why something was mentioned and "what if's" are covered there. Also check out their commentary version it helps explain why they did the remake and what the big differences were. It shows magic armor and Naryu's love were both considered and included and the way Cloud counters them.

@@AdrianBrown-Rev He would have been invincible, but he still wouldn't have the power to put Cloud down. Anything you bring up for Link that they didn't use, they also didn't use a lot of Cloud's materia that would counter these situations.

Actually cloud was also cut 1/6 on his first battle vs Link added thanks to remake and other final fantasy games supernova now was more accurate before they thought thanks to mistranslation that it was an illusion now they confirmed it is actually happening, added Cloud in this battle wasn't given all he could use still nor all the new skills he can use on remake so this was still a nerfed Cloud in case you want to know non of his support materia, command nor summon materia was used in the battle only his magic materia, also remember this is just two of the 22 clouds

@@AdrianBrown-Rev Bro, just search up the Q&A blog post about the fight, type into Google "Ultraguy Death Battle blog" and its the first result, it will explain more on why Link lost and how Cloud had more than just the Supernova feat to come out on top, trust me.

@@AdrianBrown-Rev btw the "illusion" thing about Supernova was just head canon for a while then translating japanese text found out that it's actually being transported to another dimension
