My boots slip out so easely from the kingpin. Can barely ski without randomly getting launched of my skiis, and White walking my boots always slip out aswell. (Got brand new boots) Can you somehow make them sit tighter?
Great findings would be nice if you show them in more in the commercial
That explained nothing about the helmet. Didn’t even show it
Any info on additional friction of the booster plate and heel release? ATK has a sliding version and I would expect there is a reason for that?
The additional friction generated by the booster during lateral release has been taken into account. This additional friction is within the normal ISO standard tolerances when the binding is properly adjusted and the appropriate booster is used. Additionally, we have used special "highly lubricative" material in the booster, which allows us to eliminate the need for a sled.
What is the delta value of this binding?
The delta value varies with different sole lengths.
@ is it the same as the previous Alpinist?
Where can I buy spare performance boost blocks? I have bought new ski boots and need to change to the high version.
Regarding the spare part, please contact the dealer at which you bought it. If you are not able to contact said dealer, please get in touch with your closest dealer through our dealerfinder, they will be able to assist you in the most efficient way.
I'll stick with the mwerks, my favorite binding ever!
Might be the dumbest"ad" of all time.
I want to get a pair of Marker Griffon demo bindings for my new Nordica Enforcer 104. Would the best fit likely be a 100mm or 110mm brake ??? Thx
We would recommend to go with the 110mm brake.
Does the Cruise have lateral release in the toe?
No, the Cruise does not have a toe release.
something which looks like it is well thought through.... nice one, not a common trait!
That dude was skiing like a great gig in the sky. Edit: Oh, now I see the title song.
:o
Which stopper to use with marker alpinist long 12 black ?
Gripwalk is the worst thing to happen to ski boots in a long time. Who cares about walking around when half of my skis wont work with gripwalk. Ski boots are made for skiing and now I have to update all my bindings to accommodate for the idiots that apparently cant figure out how to walk in normal 5355 boots. Grip walk also wears down faster creating tolerance issues unless you swap them out frequently. There is also a loss in ski performance due to the boot being higher off the ski.

"Starting this season, the Duke PT is available with an extended DIN setting 11, 13 and 16". Well... These ski mounts are being produced for the third season. Why are these ski mounts still available only with brake widths of 100 and 125? Is it difficult for you to make an intermediate version? 🤨

Just bought skis w/ kingpin 13. I’m normally an alpine resort skier. But you only live once. Question: if I can’t find touring friends. Can I solely use this binding as a daily resort set up. Ski area. Revelstoke/ Big White BC
A commercial not ANY INFORMATION!
Hi which mouth protector fits that helmet and is mounted in the video? Thanks
Where is this positioning Paper? I bought this but there are no installation drawings.
I am thinking of purchasing the marker alpinist long travel and hesitating between din 9 and din 12. I am a 72 kg adult skier. with a good intermediate level. Which one would you recommend? and the brake that you would recommend for an 88 wide ski would be the 90 or the 105? thanks
I had the bindings for one year. This year I lost one of the heel risers... the pin that holds it got out during a tour.... Marker is not offering this piece as a replacement. No post sell repair service!!! Very poor customer service from Marker!

Hi, is this binding adapted with 99mm width ski?
Yes, that is possible. You just need a 105mm brake.
Which stopper will fit for marker alpinist 12 long black bindings ?
Particularly frustrating for an English speaker
These bindings are hella good I got them and love them great design on them.
Started great with two pair of gloves but epic fail. What about first aid kit, blister repair, puffy layer, basic repair kit/tool, extra hat/buff/balaclava, sunscreen, goggles and on and on.
This is in german
Kul, but missing the part where the Shift binding gets reverse engineered ..

I have one of these and it´s harder to rotate the heel. It´s normal or maybe has caused by the DIN?
Hi David, thanks for contacting us. Rotating the heel is dependent on the DIN value of the binding, because rotating the heel tower is the same movement like a lateral release during skiing. By having the climbing aid in the in the rear position (skiing position) you have a bigger lever which makes turning the heel tower easier. Best, the Marker Team
Just bought a pair. You guys need to start promoting your goggles and helmets more!!! Soo much better than my previous smith I/O mag.
Thanks for the great feedback! :)
@@markerbindings wondering wich helmet would integrate best with my marker squadron+
@@mendellang8379 We are happy to know you wish to find a matching Helmet for your Squadron+ goggles. To be able to help you find the best fit, we would need to consider the proportions of your head. As not all people have the same ratio of Face-Length to head circumference, it is always recommended to take your Goggle with you to a shop when trying on helmets. It also depends somewhat on what you are looking for in style and function. That aside, I would start off by recommending either the Phoenix or Ampire helmet line, as they provide the most comfort and features. The comfort of these helmets, however, stems largely from their ‘depth’, that is to say, how much of the helmet encompasses the head. The brim is fairly low, so people with shorter / rounder faces may experience pressure on the bridge of the nose caused by goggles being pushed down. Those with longer faces would not have this problem. If this is a possible issue, I would recommend a Squad or Clark Helmet. Stay Frosty. Best, the Marker Team
What about the safety ?? How is the release??
Will my new GRIP WALK boot "tecnica cochise 120" fit in a 5 or 6 year old Marker Griffon with the proper adjustment of the sliding plate? Or do i have to use a specific grip walk binding?
