fair point, but the rest of the day to day in the bangkok is moving towards cashless. It was just a bit annoying because there aren't any coin machines nearby and I had a bunch of cash and other coins, just not the specific 10 baht coin and the house keeping staff weren't avail either

Looking forward to give it a try as 1st timer in martial arts and make some new friends over there. If you have any recommendations on activities / events for new comers to go to and make new connections would be great!

@@joaoramos32 for muay thai, when you start sparring make sure to pick good sparring partners and communicate to keep things light and technical. I had some experiences where my sparring partners went hard on me with a huge size or experience difference during my first few sessions (i got rocked). for making connections, I hung out with the organizers of @bangkokevents on instagram, they have events all the time. have a nice trip enjoy your stay in BKK!
