Sukiya is my favorite. Last time in japan, I'd get a big gyudon for breakfast in the morning all the time from them!! They are superior to the rest in my opinion. Need them to come to America!!! Okra and egg as a side are delicious.

Whenever im in japan i always make sure im nearby a sukiya or matsuya(yoshinoya is fine but i prefer the other two. Not that id say no to yoshinoya)

A more edgy title I guess 😅 In my Japan travels, I have witnessed several instances of the salmon sushi saga but things are getting better. I guess... All I'm saying is that, there are definitely alternatives to a salmon sushi (no spoilers here) This video upload has been particularly slow from me due to clashes of filming schedule with the weather of Japan, but things has gotten better. You can expect an "outdoor" video for the next one.

I prefer chikara meshi chain restaurant since they're the only one that has set menu with abura soba/maze soba with their gyudon, sadly they dont have that many branches in japan

What spicy level did you get at Coco Ichi (it looked low...highest for free...2 or 3)? The thing I like about them is that I can get a spicy dish on demand. There's many better curry places around my place, but they can make me sweat since I order an 8 (which is an upcharge for anyone not in Japan). GoGo is amazing when you want something SUPER filling for not much money if you get the Major Curry :) The last place is definitely a more recent phenomenon. These spice curry joints are really great but it will be quite pricey (as is coco ichi tbf).
