Please note that E10 fuel can separate, or undergo phase separation, when it absorbs too much moisture, Ethanol in E10 fuel is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs water. When enough water is absorbed, the ethanol and water separate into distinct layers in the fuel tank,When E10 fuel separates, it can make it difficult or impossible to start the engine. The fuel can also become contaminated with deposits that can cause the engine to run poorly, misfire, and trigger emission-related faults If leaving your bike foe a few months its best to put a small amount of preserver into the tank, this can be burnt off as you ride the bike the next time, Older bike owners know that they had to change the diaphragms in the carbs as it simply melts them or makes them chewy over time.
You gotta incorporate some more black in the fit and lose the denim. That way drivers may mistake you for a cop and clear a path for you!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Steven. I am about to change my RS for a 2019 RT for the better ergonomics and weather protection. Been riding an RT for the bloodbike service for some time and love them. Better than a GSA which I’ve also owned. The RT is superbly comfortable and can be hustled surprising rapidly, remaining planted and stable yet amazingly agile and manoeuvrable at low speed . For me, it’s the ultimate beemer. 1250 a more refined lump than the 1200 too. RS is very rapid and fabulous handling but not as ergonomically well thought out, for all that, I’ll miss it. Agree about the seat….I’ll be fitting an Aktiv Komfort seat as I have one on the RS and it’s a great improvement. Also need crash bars fitted so won’t be going the r&g route😂
@@ReferenceFidelityComponents nice to hear positive feedback
Great short ride review. I’m 70yrs old and I ride a 2018 Norton Commando (Donnington Hall). Totally agree with you re discomfort after an hour or two and the weight on the wrists at low speeds but get them on the roads they were designed for and they’re a different bike again. I got mine a couple of years ago after a fifty year absence of two wheeled riding and I have to say, riding it is such a great experience and so full of soul. Have you ever thought of doing a longer term review,eg over one or two weeks? I’ve subscribed btw, enjoyed your vid but i’ve just got to ask,why do you edit out the engine sound when cruising past windows? As you say,the sound of the engine is really worth listening to. 👍
@@pjhammer78 the editing is the limits of my recording gear really.

Thanks for the video Steven, I need to ask you something. My bike jas got 11500 kms on the odo and I want to get it serviced before I put it away for winter, I was wondering if it will need a regular service or something else?
Just wanted to thank you for this quick tutorial, it sorted my visor issues immediately!! Watched the video last night, Amazon delivered the rubber rings today and wow, visor feels sturdy and secure. It’s not dropped during a ride either. Feel like the manufacturer really failed with the design. Have to say that for the money I paid for this Schuberth helmet, it’s absolutely awful. Feels so flimsy and plasticky compared to Shoei. Absolutely gutted, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The foam padding inside has lost its shape within 2 years too, so I’ve had to order new internals. Next time I’ll buy a Shoei as you just can’t beat their quality.
@@mightytoast7996 apart from the visor issue I love this helmet. I will buy a shoei next time though
