Is this good for children with Down syndrome ?💛💙
My son absolutely loves mickey mouse club house but not the newer ones. He sticks to what he likes xx
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! On a level, this has actually been the most helpful video I've seen yet. My son is called Eli lol and he does exactly what your son does. Sometimes. I feel alone and feel like im not doing things right with my 2 year old son. Thank you again so much for this video 📹. I dont feel like im in a losing battle and knowing there are other children and parents dealing with this. My husband doesn't really understand our son and gets frustrated. He is getting tested for autism himself. I suffer with mental health and physical health and i have to do most of it on my own, looking after two people with autism is difficult. But i love them both so very much ❤ Sorry for shouting i just got really happy and this video has literally boosted my moral 🙃 ❤ from across the pond uk 🇬🇧 🏴
Gorgeous video of a well loved little boy who happens to also have autism. He seems to have the classical signs of autism in a toddler, so I am sure this is helpful to many who may need confirmation of what they are seeing with their child. As a teacher I found this very informative as a snapshot from the parent's perspective.
I have autism and grew up with A occupational therapist I had joint compression and brushing. I have little bit of everything in the intellectual disability system including very very mild cerebral pulasy
Thank you. Love these!
I wonder what type of interventions you had. Did you ever tried the Hanen Parent Program More Than Words? I would love to hear your experience
What an incredibly sad disability. It’s like they are not all there.
My son is 4 in 2 days time and he’s exactly the same as your son. We have breakdowns everyday. I can’t take him anywhere on my own. I feel trap and depressed as I can’t get anywhere with him and in the Uk getting a diagnosis will take years
They are so sweet ❤
I am an OT and first I want to thank you for sharing your beautiful son with all of us! And secondly I want to thank you for being so engaged with him that you want to learn more, do more, and follow through with his recommended interventions to allow him to grow and develop! You’re a good momma!
Different does not mean wrong. How kind and appropriate.
Thanks for the good example of autistic behaviors.
My son doesn’t like eye contact either but he will let me tickle or play peek a boo but hates doing eye contact
I think my sons autistic I don’t Mind Ide just like to know his name is also Eli lol he definitely doesn’t resolving to his name either
Awww our sons are so very similar!! He loves to spin wheels and loves those vents his stuffies his squishies it was so wonderful to watch this it’s like a normal fun day to us ❤️
❤🎉🎉
Why cant scientists tell us what is this thing autism that is in the whole world 😢omg
Wow this is a good idea, thank you
Wow our sons are almost identical in their mannerisms and characteristics
He is 6 now turning 7 this year, he is still very similar but has lots of new little things now too!
My daughter has got autism OCD sensory processing disorder ADHD and social anxiety and has got a sensory room
Ty this helped me a lot. As my child is two years old and is verbal and we were going to start a first early intervention. They asked me about the pacing and steming and my child only does it a little. So I feel this video really helps me to understand autism more as a mom. I for now have only one child and thinking of having more and need to know more info about child autism.
Such a great Mom. I hope to be the person like you in my life.
i am a kid i don,t know if i have austim can you hlep me
Good Mamma Teaching Us❤
Neuralink
He's way too cute. My brother is 6 but he IS verbal. Its wild how this stuff works. But his little face is just too cute 🥺🥺🥺
Hi love your videos you are an awesome mom, does Eli speaks now?
He is beginning to mimick a few words and phrases, but he still can’t communicate his needs verbally (he is 6) and is beginning to use a speech device and having success with the speech device so far
Aren’t bright colors like red yellow etc stimulating for them? I mean according to some researches yellow , reds, and vibrant colors aren’t for autistic children
So that’s actually not true! Autistic children are very different, and my son is what is called an under responder! Over responders certainly would be over stimulated and need a decrease in bright contrasting colors and more cool neutral tones in their cal ing environment, however my son is constantly under stimulation and needs the extra stimulation to process information and learn! There are many stereotypes with autism, and unfortunately one of them is that over stimulation is the only presentation, however it gets even more complicated that just over and under stimulated! For example my son is over all and under responder, however he is an over responder orally and with temperature, though temperature and pain are not often discussed, they usually stick to the 7 main sensoria’s categories! He loves textures on his skin, however his mouth is very over responsive, and he cannot eat food because of this. He also enjoys very extreme and over powering smells including bad smells!
I do have an old video on an OT session somewhere, I don’t really do videos anymore but it goes into this a bit, his old OT explains it in the video somewhere.
Such a cute little boy. Seems to me he's avoiding not only eye contact, but also joint attention. Even without eye contact, if you find a way to promote JA that can help him a lot with his learning
I want to share about a herbal recommendations I got about Dr Oyalo on TH-cam and his herbal remedy which work perfectly on my sons autism. speech and social skill has improved till now
There is a herbal recommendations I got about dr Oyalo and his herbal remedy which work perfectly on my sons improvements from nonverbal to verbal and his and social skill till now
Stop, your child is crying!
He is laughing lol
This is how my emotions are when I have to put my hands in my sweetheart's ice cooler.... And it always feels like first time....
He never knew
Ohh I want to do this so much! What is the lights thing? I go to my local rugby club mainly bc I LOVE the lights 🙈
Love these !,, great ideas !
I really love the attitude you have about your son and his autism. I’ve never had the feeling I was mourning a future that my son could have had because I’ve known his future wasn’t mine to plan since before he was born. It was a relief when our suspicions were confirmed and we could finally understand how to help him thrive. My son’s speech didn’t pick back up until he was 3.5. At 7 he very much sounds like someone who’s speaking English as a second language, but he’s smart enough to improvise when he’s trying to make himself understood.

🥰 Very cute 🥰 Thank you so much!
I really loved this video until the end. That last song negatively affected my senses.
Sorry I was very new to editing videos and my son liked this song and helped me pick it, I will put something alerting people in the description
Does he also have seizures?😮
Yes, but not in a long time
I have autism and adhd and sensory processing disorder and anxiety
How is he now? What age is he?
He is turning 6, he is still mostly non verbal but is beginning to get some echolalia and words for labeling, just not for communicative purposes, he also can use a yes no touch chart sometimes for communication, he also cannot follow simple one step directions quite yet, he still is globally delayed and does not interact with other children outside of his brother, and it is not in a playful or typical way But, he also has so much more awareness and interaction with his family, he has more of an interest in being with us, and he is experiencing more and more things. He is still disabled and always will be, but he is also coming along and growing and progressing and becoming a sweet young man lol. We also have found out since this video that he has 5 genetic variants, several of which are associated with autism, one causes CDLS, the NIPBL gene, which commonly causes autism as well as other symptoms he has (slow growth, IDD, chronic vomiting and severe feeding issues, raynauds, etc).
@@louderthanwordsInclusivity thank you so much for sharing this. Hes very similar to my 2.5 year old I wish you all the best
Thanks. Thanks. God bless
Hi
Beautiful angel. I have a 3 yr old non verbal.. I am fairly convinced all of the heavy metals in his initial vaccines have caused this. I am currently looking for a healthy and age-appropriate detox for him as well as speech and OT therapies. ROOT CAUSES in AUSTIN.. sounds great, but it’s far away from us and very expensive; cash only. So I’m looking for something closer. I appreciate the video very much… it is exhausting but it’s worth it.
I’m special needs
I have a 2 year old that does the exact stuff as Eli. They haven't diagnosed him with autism yet until he is 3 but he is enrolled with the regional center for therapy twice a week my only son and it does break me😢
Mona words have more power than you think. When people ask if he's autistic just say I doubt it. If you truly feel he is believe it or not he can be delivered. Look up Richard Lorenzo ( Roc church) or Pastor Richard Lorenzo)
Well whether it is autism or not, the fact that they are already getting support they need is great! If they do get diagnosed with it, then just remember that it is identifying a neurology that is already present, to help equip you and the medical and educational system with the knowledge to meet their needs! I know that there is more to it than that, but just take things one day at a time.❤️
@@louderthanwordsInclusivity Thank you for the advice I think that in about 1 or 2 more years I might be flying to Virginia Beach for magnetic e therapy....
@@julianrichy5830 Lorenzo yes I saw his videos . He's really good
❤❤❤
Honestly, as a mum of a 2 year old that was really interesting to see. Thank you for sharing that with us. My son is not autistic (at least I don't think so), but it's still interesting to see how different children are. There is a little boy, the same age as mine, living in the same appartment building as we are. I think he might be autistic. Watching your son was like watching him. But I'm no doctor and definitley don't want to diagnose him. It's just an observation.
I’m glad you found it interesting! That’s why I made that actually, because I had never seen another child like mine until I saw a child a the therapy clinic that was diagnosed, and that’s when it clicked that he really likely was autistic (we already were waiting for his eval, but I was still thinking that it was just a delay and unique traits)-I very much wanted to put this out there so that another parent like me at that weird place before knowing can also see another child like theirs, especially since modern parenting can be so competitive, and it can feel like you’re doing something wrong when one of your children just aren’t meeting the milestones, despite doing things the same. He is going on 6 now, and is still very similar, but he will mimic a word here and there or phrase like, “happy birthday” when he sees us bringing groceries in (bagged items) or handing items to each other or eating pastries, and he has much more interaction now, as far as pulling us where he needs and such things. There definitely are other things that can cause a presentation similar to autism, however Autism seems to be the most common cause of such a presentation regarding disabilities, at least most commonly diagnosed.
