I bought an expensive lot, cracked open cgc to go for PSA. Here are the results.

Alright so I made a submission, and for whatever reason, PSA doesn’t like me submitting old cards… I got this return back and go totally destroyed on some older cards :(. Well this will still go straight to my eBay: eBay.com/usr/ithinkfwd

It's always good to see these kinds of cards inside these cases. I think it's great to wonder about the journeys that they all went through, leading up to being graded. Most people are so bent on nothing but the best cards and grades, but this is always a breath of fresh air. Good job! :)

The Shiny Vaporeon deserves a better grade than a 4 imo.

Whats interesting about the price is its dictated on sales and there is currently more PSA being sold than CGC. So the price technically should be the same. Quality between the two slabs is the same. A 10 CGC and PSA should be the same imo.
Yeah, I tried to have as raw footage as possible. Perhaps if i get a bit more momentum on this channel I'll put in a bit more production value :). Right now you get the raw Straight shoot and upload.
@@artofcards_tcg It really comes down to demand, I think as CGC becomes even more popular (especailly in the modern world, as I feed it will be rare for someone who has a base set charizard would crack it and regrade CGC. We are all collectors and we all like things to be aligned and same :).
This video is a clear example why I don’t get vintage because these cards are all beat but still expensive. I had a binder filled with beat cards like this and I did not enjoy looking at them because of how damage they were so I sold that binder and now almost done collecting all alts from S&S and S&M era and I enjoy looking at them because they are all minty and have beautiful textures since all are Jap textures. Nice vid though.
I bought 5 of these and they are worth it. I got 3 green packs 1 red and 1 gold pack. The red pack I got a Cosmic Eclipse and the Gold I got a 1st Edition Fossil pack. I'm saving the Fossil pack and gonna get it graded.

card saver 1 + a small pull tab. Put them in order than use elastic band to wrap them together and box it in.

Bro i’m so jelous that you live in America and can sen so many cards to PSA, i live in Europe and everytime i want to send some cards to them i need to pay SUCH BIG PRICES just because of the taxes smh

Oh what do mean taxes ? Do you get import tax applied to your return value?
@@pokefolio Not exactly… Lets say that i want to send in 10 cards. Normally i would pay for those cards like €250 (€25 per card without special offers) + some costs to send those cards ofcourse (like €10-€15) BUT THAN, i need to pay additional €70 or so (tax), just because i’m importing something to America worth around €260 (€260 = cards price + price to send it). So normally i should pay €260, but ik paying €330. That’s like €260 = $280 and €330= $354

I think you already did ! My recent return was amazing
U did pretty good. I would not say u got totally wrecked there. That is around the average. Typically lets just say if u do a 40 card submission. You are on average going to get 18-24 psa 10s and rest 9s or lower. Ofc it all depends on how u select your cards and how you prep you cards. U can easily get a 9 on a absolute flawless card just over slight finger print that u cant see unless under a microscope. Something i would highly recommend to you moving forward with any submissions is to get a graders scale and a good magnifying glass and one with a light. Also anytime you do a sub wear clean rubber gloves and use super soft type of microfiber cloth and wipe the card clean for any fingerprints or smudges, always use clean card savers and clean sleeves. Use perfect fit style sleeves as well. If u do all of this and fully inspect every single card and send in only the best ones you will see your psa 10 rate go up. Gotta be very selective tho of what you send in. Eventually u will learn exactly what there looking for with time.

This psa return was pretty good, even the ones that are graded lower, i don’t think there was a lot of bs like in your last video hahah i can understand why some of them got lower ratings, but again i don’t know if the scratches that i saw were on the case or the card itself. Btw nice trade there you showed at the end!!!!

You and me both. I’m literally going to crack and regrade a few. I did that last time around, cracked a super clean 9 and got back a 10 this rounds PSA is very random at times
