Ain't so much about the smell and feel of a book or needing a break from screens. The spatial dynamics of bound and printed matter is inherently superior for the experience of reading. Each portion of the text has its unique location in physical space, which aids processing and recall. It's simply the best best possible technology for reading. CDs and DVDs were quickly supplanted because the experience of listening and watching is not affected by the lack of a phyisical medium. I don't think a guilt trip is needed to keep physical books in demand. For my part at least I rest confident in the permanence of physical books, whether we root for it or not.

Nicely done video. But Final Cut pro, even though it is good product, it is not made for managing Digital screens and it is a very expensive product. Using other Digital Signage products you can manage all of your content remotely, I am not sure if you can do that with Final Cut Pro.

JNT killed Doctor Who in the 80s.

I met JNT in 1989 at the bar in the Wimbledon Theatre for the first night of the Doctor Who play with Jon Pertwee. He was charming and very friendly. And oddly met Peter Davison in 1984 at Hammicks bookshop in Guildford. Also totally charming.

I was on Staff of Dixie Trek for ALL the years that there WAS a Dixie Trek.
