Hawk 250 DLX Clutch Spring Upgrade | Motorcycle Maintenance | ASMR Garage Sounds
The more miles I put on my bike, the more things I notice that can use improvement. The clutch would develop chatter and slippage after riding for awhile, so I decided to upgrade the Clutch Springs. From what I have read online, these springs are one of the best upgrades you can do for the Hawk 250.

After I upgraded to a ninja 650 shock I Could really feel how rough the front suspension was. In this video I drain out the stock oil and upgrade it to a quality fork oil that's a little bit heavier to hopefully reduce the jitteryness in the front. hey brother thank you for making this video, i just ordered my heavy duty clutch springs for my2023 hawk X 250, cant wait til they come, especially cant wait for the fact that i no longer have to listen to the clutch chatter and clinky noises, if you have any other video's on motor upgrades im all eyes and ears and will be tuning in for sure, i love these bikes, they do whats needed and will get you on any adventure, it was worth every penny including the thousand dollar motor upgrades i dumped in, went a lil overboard but im happy the power is there if i need it, i can get up hills easier know, living in the appalachain mountains these hawks need a lil steroids in the motor for these ups and downs on these roads,

Hey! Appreciate the video but could you give me some more info about the 650 shock? Just ordered my DLX and wanting to make it trail bike but worried about it bottoming out and etc. Thanks!
Hey, how's it going? Ill do the best to help. I used an 06-08 Ninja EX650 shock, you can find them all day on eBay for under $50. Once you go to put it in, you will need about four washers to space the shock properly where it mounts to the swingarm. Hope this helps and happy trails!
Points for uploading a very uhh...*cough* "unique" take on a how-to video. So much so, that this might be the ONLY ASMR motorcycle maintenance video on TH-cam! The reason why seems to rely on the opinionated fact that most people aren't wanting to sit around and relax...when all they want is to QUICKLY obtain information pertaining to the PARTS LIST, EXACTLY what TO DO to get their bike's performance back on track, and that's that!!!

It's a 229cc. Not tons of power, but definitely a blast to ride.
I replaced my front wheel but for some reason my speedometer is reading 0 . Did you ever have this issue?
Make sure that sensor is aligned with the hub correctly, that or a lose wire somewhere.
