1. Imagine thinking 20-50k is cheap for what is essentially a toy. (Yes, the elise, and probably the e10,is a performance bargain, but still, NOT cheap) 2. I have a 96 C4 vette. It's in great shape, but in no way does it make me look rich. If you're paying more than 12k for one it better be top notch or a ZR1. 3. The 944 is a better budget option, but gonna be hard to find in good shape if you can't find a reasonable 968, which you might not. Great cars though.
