This video is an explanation of the symptoms of a fail state in the P1S Bambu Labs CoreXY 3D printer. it's my first one, and I plan to do more as I get more problems with printers. Sorry for the bad camera work, and incomplete disassembly, I only decided to try to make a helpful video after i took it apart.

This is a Magnetic Mount system made for the OEM Model No. 0886-20 MILWAUKEE Jobsite Fan. It mounts to the base of the fan, replacing five OEM screws, and uses two locking mechanisms to secure the four 110lb test round and two 70lb test bar neodymium magnets. If you have a large metal surface perfect for slapping your Milwaukee fan on for storage or use, this will work for you. Also works well ...

    Hi, I'm interested in printing it, but where can I get the STL for the neck tube?

    I have a X1C and suffered from similar. The extruder design is shit imo.

  • @jonnysimps
    @jonnysimps 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is caused because of the chamber temperature getting too hot and the gears get hot so the filament softens in the extruder and it will do that, printing petg and pla take the top glass cover off

    • @peterprints
      @peterprints 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Generally I don't have a problem printing PETG with the glass on. It really is about heat creep and temperatures, though, you're right - so I think you've nailed the cause of this on the head. I have this printer in a room that isn't air conditioned like the rest of my printers are.

    i've had the same issue with my brand new p1s combo. i fixed by printing with 250"C, its not gonna burn your fillament, and it's working fine now. it's because of the speed it's printing, you need better flow so that means high temps. good luck!

    • @jonnysimps
      @jonnysimps 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just take the top glass door off and you dont need to turn up the temperature, it probably works because the filament is easier to push so it doesnt gunk up in the gears, just take the top glass off and you dont need to turn up the heat

    • @lthink2675
      @lthink2675 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jonnysimps yes i was thinking of that. But with 250 works more than fine with me. Also i have better adhesion to the bed

    • @peterprints
      @peterprints 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, I used to print a lot hotter than I do now. I stopped that mostly because I print a lot of round objects and the stringing got to be too much. I really don't mind stringing most of the time because I value layer adhesion more since they're functional parts.

    • @lthink2675
      @lthink2675 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@peterprints yeah, i know what you mean about the stringing, i've had a lot of isues with my ender3 pro (upgraded) but now with p1s it's so much better, little to no stringing even at 250"c

      @peterprints this isn't the beginning of the song, or any part of the song, unless it was cut up. The lyrics are "narwhals narwhals, swimming in the ocean, CAUSING a commotion, CAUSE THEY ARE SO AWESOME". The parts in Caps are the actual lyrics that don't align with the video. It's not even similar to the original vocals.

    carboard is to slick you can print rings to put around the carboard ones no respooling

  • @glenwaelbers8968
    @glenwaelbers8968 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just put a layer of electrical tape around the edge, and fold the excess over the edges. Works fine for me and doesn't add any thickness to the spools

  • @dsemolian3071
    @dsemolian3071 ปีที่แล้ว

    My AMS worked fine with cardboard, but there WAS a little paper dust from them. I printed the most minimal rings that usually fit well, but I gluestick them on anyway. BEWARE... Many of the rings make the roll too TALL and will rub and scratch the inside of the AMS lid. So I rest the lid on top of its little locking tabs.

    • @peterprints
      @peterprints ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I noticed the dust, too. My cardboard rolls seemed to be doing OK, until there was less filament on the roll. Thanks for the heads up about the scratching, I'll be sure to be on the lookout for that.

  • @ericc8895
    @ericc8895 ปีที่แล้ว

    All you have to do is print the spool adapters that go over the cardboard spools, a few people designed them for this issue, they make a very thin one that is different than the one you printed

    • @peterprints
      @peterprints ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll definitely have to try that, the Overture spools are so wide haha, super thin adapters eh? Thanks for the heads up!
