A couple traveling the country to see national parks, national monuments and state parks in a Winnebago View.
Bryce Canyon
At Bryce we stay at Ruby's Inn RV resort and we use the shuttles to get in the park because parking an RV at the overlooks can be difficult. We spend 2 says in Bryce arriving from Kodachrome State park around 9:30am on the first day.

Escalante & Kodachrome State Parks

As we traveled between Capital Reef and Bryce Canyon National parks we stopped at these State parks to enjoy the scenery. We found ourselves wishing we had a high clearance vehicle to go down some of the dirt roads that had cool things to see.
Capitol Reef & The Hogback Route 12

We spent 3 nights in the Fruita campground in Capitol Reef. We did a few hikes and had pies and cinnamon rolls but there is still a lot more to see in this area.
Monument Valley

We went to Monument Valley from Canyonlands intending to go see Natural Bridges and Bears Ears National Monument but a bridge was out on that route. So we had to drive back through the way we came to get to Goblin Valley State park. We only spent one night in Monument Valley and did the tour during that evening.
Canyonlands Island in the Sky

This is a what we did in a day. We didn't have time for any real hiking during this visit. The haze you see is from fires at that time.
Montana & Glacier National Park

This is the Montana part of our 2021 trip and includes Devils Tower, Little Bighorn, Pictograph Cave State Park and Glacier National Park.
Canyonlands Needles Excursion

This was a 4x4 excursion we took into the Needles district of Canyonlands. Although it looks tame I think that is because I couldn't video the scary parts because I was busy hanging on for dear life. The company we did the excursion with was Navtec out of Moab, UT.

Yellowstone National Park 2021

This was our trip into Yellowstone. We spent 6 days with our Winnebago View seeing the park. At the time the Roosevelt-Tower fall area was closed so we didn't see that area. We also couldn't see the Artist Paint pots area because you can't drive an RV down that road.(most likely due to parking issues)

Absolutely spectacular in late June, July and August, the absolute best time to be there! It's right next to Scotts Bluff, Nebraska.
We went in the fall and it was a lot less busy but still warm. It's 600 miles from Scott's Bluff. We hope to go to Scott's Bluff on our next big trip out west.
@@roadrunnerwithaview If you revere the isolation and beauty you always geotag these wonderful places as Scott's Bluff, Neb. I remember what it was like in 1977, we overnighted in Frying Pan Canyon and got caught in an evening downpour. On the way out we stopped in Torrey, so little traffic that two dogs were getting it on in the middle of the state highway at noon. You can still find isolation but it gets harder every time I go back.
