Although this Tamiya 1/12 Dax125 "Dachshund" kit is a compact motorcycle model, it has excellent detail and fit, making the building process a real pleasure. This is my first time building a Hasegawa model kit. The small parts are well crafted and nicely made. However, the plastic of the body is very thin and all the panel lines are extremely shallow. Curious what type of paint you used on the body. Because it looks amazing! I've already ordered paint from Gravity, but this will be my 1st attempt with that product. No, I did not get their 3-part clear, figure I'll just use Tamiya X-22 for that.

Why put the tires on the rims before decals and dull coat? I'm sure you have a reason, I just want to understand. Seems easier (no mask) to put them on the rims afterwards.
In my experience, the rim is a snug fit in the tire. It will expand the tire a little. If you clear coat the tire and then insert the rim, it will crack the clear coat, and the decals. It’s happened to me

Im finiahed with mine i added carbon fiber decals and PE kit. So I figure opening the doors and front cowl would make it easier for an observer to see all the time effort and expense that went into it. I already bought a second copy to build in curbside configuration in tge same display. I am very satisfied with the results on the first one and look forward to the next

You should start using Tamiya masking tape/masking tape for curves. You have way to much bleeding on the main body paint lines
A thought. If you spray a thin coat of the base colour after masking, before the top colour you should eliminate all bleeding. The base colour will bleed but then seal the masking. Being the same as the colour underneath it won't show up. A trick decorators use.

What's the best option for building this big bike! What should I buy the Die Cast Big Bike or a Model Kit?
The best option really depends on your preferences! If you enjoy the assembly and detailing process, a model kit might be the way to go, as it allows for more customization. However, if you're looking for something that's ready to display with less effort, the die-cast big bike would be a great choice.
