What was the story behind the MiG-21 in Boise, Idaho?
I didn't get a photo of that sign, but luckily, my dad did. Here is what it says: (text from AI scan) Mik-yan-Gurevich MiG-21 SPEED: 1,350mph RANGE: 751 miles ALTITUDE: 58,400' WEIGHT: 19,425 # WINGSPAN: 23 J HEIGH: 135 LENGTH: 47.7' This MiG-21 originally flew with the Polish Air Force. It is painted in the familiar markings of MiG-21s flown by the Russian Air Force. The MiG-21 entered service in 1959 and 11,496 were produced, seeing service in some 60 countries. MiG-21s were formidable fighters, performing well in the Vietnam and the Middle East wars. Purchased in 2011 from donations by BIll Miller and friends of the Idaho Military Historical Restoration led by Bruce Vanderhoef, and performed by Brian Deeds supervising the Boise Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron.

Hello James, welcome to London! Great video, seems like you already have a good plan in place for the time in London. I haven't been here too long so I haven't REALLY explored many places outside of London but I went to see the cliffs of Dover and they sure are beautiful. There is a bit of hiking you'll have to do but to be honest, it's worth it. Hope you have a great time here. Cheers

Yeah, it's not something I do often. I mainly just needed the miles for MVP in 2023. Pricey, but sometimes almost worth it.
