Hi great content guys. We need more Canadian content for sure. My question regarding subject to. If I purchase the property and the mortgage renewal comes up will I be responsible to get a new mortgage or could my seller renew the mortgage for me?
(I know it's a year ago you commented and you probably got your answer) In an AFS scenario, you have no control over the mortgage. You will have to discuss the renewal option with the mortgage holder. It's the mortgage holder that will have to go to the bank and exercise that option. It will be your job to share with them the benefits to renew if you want to extend your AFS strategy and relationship.
