    noted on certain TV advert...the model slathering ............body wash so she's covered in suds. This is not a good message. It suggests it's fine to use far more than necessary when we are supposed to be mindful of what we are pouring into rivers and oceans. Please be economical and use the minimum needed.Also we are now being encouraged not to shower every single day and to save water...unless you do a dirty job or have medical hygiene issues there is no need

    A good body wash, like a good face cleanser, deliberately does not produce any foam that would otherwise dry your skin.

Consequently, have stopped buying because I have been using so much. After seeing your demonstration, I feel like such an idiot; certainly there are others out here! Thanks!

    Isn’t lather just the byproduct? The soap itself needs adequate contact with skin and dirty right? The lather doesn’t really matter. Lather is just diluted soap and oxygen. If u put an dollop of lather over a dirty spot vs a dollop of soap wouldn’t the soap clean the area better?

    was this called exfoliating and is this only done a few times in a week or do you do it everyday as part of your shower routine?

    • @dinarusso3320
      @dinarusso3320 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have sensitive skin, doctor's will tell you not to use these except maybe once a week, yes exfoliating is abrasive on the skin.

      It depends on your skin. Once you exfoliate, you yourself will realise when to do the next exfoliation. It's basically a process of removing dead skin cells. Dead skin is that black-brown dirt you get when you rub your fingers on or scratch/itch your sweaty skin (after working out or performing any task that causes you to perspire). It makes your skin feel rough and itchy.

    Loofahs have hardly any resemblance to the puff. Loofahs are stiff, abrasive things, though porous like a sponge. So don't fault her for not using a term you're using incorrectly.
