I don't know the umpire - he is one of the players in our group. I think at the end of the day, he was being appreciative of a good rally and the final shot to win the point. I didn't see it as being biased in any way.

I don't think the playing referee meant any bias. He was just applauding a good shot.

I have been an umpire myself many times and I do applaud excellent rallies.

I know, I've been watching your matches with Peter. Your latest match being last weekend at Derby.

Well, I wouldn't call it unlucky, since Manoj got a lot more net points than Peter. I guess it's an expression. Both players played well, changing their strategies and ball placement, I would say that Peter had less unforced errors and was able to open more services and take the initiative in points, I had the impression than after the first game where Majoj dominated the pace of the game and Peter was away from the table defending, the roles reversed as the games progressed. Could had gone either way, to be honest, but Peter was more consistent at the end.
