Grant Creek Wolves
มุมมอง 10K12 ปีที่แล้ว
My name is Todd Hardesty. I film wildlife documentaries in Alaska. When filming in Denali National Park I always looked forward to seeing the the Grant Creek wolf pack. The alpha female (wearing the radio collar) and alpha male were easy to spot, often traveling down the park road. I filmed the pack over two seasons, in 2009 and 2010. In one memorable encounter, the alpha female was off hunting...
Alaska's Northern Lights
มุมมอง 2.9K12 ปีที่แล้ว
This footage is a time-lapse. Every second is actually 30 seconds of real time aurora. You can see the sky was just crazy! It went on at least 6 hours. Thank you solar flare! The view is just north of Trapper Creek, Alaska. Mile 131 Parks Highway, January 24, 2012 1 a.m.
Thank you for adding this to TH-cam!
Denali is one of my favorite locations to film. So many extraordinary experiences.
Love the Grizzlies 😍 Peter Thomas has the best narration voice! Thanks for this amazing upload
I applaud you for making and sharing this incredible video very much, but, I don't remember hearing anything about Salmon, it would have been nice to have seen them.
Thanks for the upload. Could you also upload "Wild Alaska" by Questar?
All forensic files fans will recognize this voice
Very well filmed but with all the effort put into that, I was sorry to see that no wolverine were captured on camera. They are by far the most interesting denizen of Denali.
Have been to Denali what splendor awesome adventure
Lovely
A very beautiful relaxing video as I watch Mother Nature and all her radiant beauty is so calming to one's mind. Thank you so gorgeous is this place Called Denali.
What an amazing video!!! Does anyone know when it was originally made???
😂😂😂😂
I have never seen wolves trotting before! So smooth and effortless, like my German Shepard. Beauty in motion❣️☺️
Just wanted to say too the world is full of heartache and stress and to be able to relax watching these awesome wild life with gentle music give me peace! The way the world should be with humans , to protect family, take what comes and keep on trying ! Love it 😍
Natural places animals explanation music and video super 🍋🍋🍋
Keep up with these amazing documentary stories please🙏🥰🙏
GREAT DOCUMENTARY 🙏🥰🙏 THANK 💛YOU
Documentary would’ve been way better if the people weren’t in it.
Thanks for your comment. The film's original intent was to show people enjoying the park. But a film with just the wilderness and wildlife would have been good too.
really beautiful video
The music, the scenery and the narration, all so beautiful and relaxing.
Nowhere else like Alaska on the earth beautiful
The “Wolf Pack” absolutely stunning ! ! So majestic . .
BEAUTIFUL!!! Brings back a memorable time! Thank you!
Very enjoyable.

We are glad you enjoyed the film and our channel. Thanks for the comment.
No rivers, no fish and no fish hunting ?
The area of Denali National Park covered in this film does not have great runs of salmon or other popular sport fish. Visitors typically come to see the wild places and the wildlife. In Alaska there are many places to catch fish for sport, just not in Denali National Park.
Outstanding documentary, I enjoyed every minute right to the very end. It is not often that a video can keep me interested for almost an hour, but this one did. Thank you for sharing.
I like the video 👍🏿
Very enjoyable,,, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome documentary thank you 😊 and the narrator saying the landscapes beauty as if painted by the hand of God, oh how TRUE!!!!! 🙏❤️
Thanks MSF to help my people
Wolves are Beautiful animals! life for wild wolves are already so hard, why would people kill them ? So sad…
Beautiful land, indeed
Fantastic work Dr. Jill; you have a big heart.
This footage beautifully shows the effortless distance-eating trot on the big springy paws. "The wolf is kept fed by his feet"
that is my mom Martha Wright speaking Native about the Yukon River. She is wearing the purple top.
Great video! Thanks!
Even if you go in winter, is it still sometimes rare to see the aurora?
Alaska Video Postcards video snapshot of 2011 Yukon River Inter Tribal Watershed gathering in Ruby, AK and familiar faces of relatives, town residents-visitors and me.
You shoot this at Flattop Mtn?
Todd, I am a Park Ranger in Denali. May I have permission to use this clip in an educational theater program? The topic is about appreciating the predators in our wilderness. I would like to use this in a section when I speak about the view ability (or recent lack of it) of the wolves from the park road.
No problem. Please show to as many people as you'd like.
oh this is too much "the natives" listening to a "nword"!!
My mother was born there! if the gd "natives" had made that kinda noise then ? (well there would be a lot less)
I did know Tom. In fact I have an interview with him about Denali's wolves which I might include in an upcoming video. He was a nice guy.
Loosing this wonderful female is terrible.
Palin is so much hotter than the chick in this video
What the fuck is this supposed to be? Are they all stoned?
Bastard Coke Wallace! Evil despicable...POS.
OMG, this is amazing! So this female was the one killed? Too sad, they are beautiful.
