Wow I love this video ❣️ considering in majoring in comp lit
Majoring in Comparative Literature was hands down the best decision I ever made at Cal. I got to learn Arabic, Russian, and French, and the way the major was structured allowed me to take classes in so many different amazing departments, not just the literature/language depts. You end up taking courses in History, Poli Sci, etc and can take advantage of the top minds across the whole university. Almost all Complit students study abroad, and if you run into another Complit student on campus you already know they can probably speak/write/read another language and also will have some amazing travel stories to share. Pick the languages/cultures/literatures you love and DO IT!!! <3 to Harsha Ram and Francine Masiello in this video, they are amazing professors and wonderful people.
