It’s just crazy to me as an artist because you develop this nonbinary character presumably because of all the possibilities with skins you could make for them… and then… we got one ice cream skin that was essentially the same outfit different colors. Even the avatar skin doesn’t change much... so much lost potential for characters they have a majority of in the game- white dudes and cute lil Asian girlies 👀

yeah i noticed the cute robot on the chubby side too... the thing is though... why? like sure corporate reasons is for body shape inclusiveness reason to mark of the check box. But as a player who likes the lore of Overwatch I'm sitting here going... "what was this Omnic's function? before the crisis?" Was she a Floatation omnic for life guard duty? was she a crash test omnic with extra padding? or maybe a ballistics bot with the purpose to diffuse bombs? idk, like im truly lost to what was her function... it's a cute robot design. but its like... no way the robot gal augmented herself to look like that... Because that wouldnt make sense.. I mean sure, she is an awakend omnic and like all omnics in lore are trying to find themselves.. but im sorry. my suspension of disbelief ends at the fact that a robot sentient or not would not encumber themselves like that. least i mean if i was a robot.. i wouldn't do that... so it has to be the prior that he was specifically built for something.. or you know the new lore team has nothing but a box of crayons to go on.

The only thing I partly enjoyed was the return of Cosmic Crisis, cause I generally like the PvE stuff. I would have liked if the old OW1 archives missions come back for the anniversary but clearly that's never going to happen. Everything else was just extremely lackluster, nothing special, just recolours, and rewards for stuff that already came out before. At this point unless you main the poster heroes like Kiriko, Mercy, Rein etc, every event is going screw all the others over in the name of profits...
