Soften The Glare tour 2025?!!

So, I discovered you guys last year, and I'm the kind of person who listens to one album through a bunch of times before moving on to the next one, and Making Faces was that album, and March Of the Cephalopods was my favorite song, so I didn't know there was a sequel until I saw this in my feed. My band has a song we really like jamming, and its evolved since we recorded it 10 years ago, and we were like "Can we do this again but different? Would people even like that?'' The answer is YES. Well, I mean maybe. This was incredible. Weather or not people want to hear us but like, with a reed organ remains to be seen.

Some random video about Cephalopods popped up, I watched it and now this! Where have you been!? This is awesome! The bass has some major Cynic Focus vibes. One of my favorite albums ever! This is so good. Question for anyone; how is he getting a fretless sound on a fretted bass? Did he use a fretless in studio? I can hear (at least I think) the frets when he's hammering on and pulling off though. 😮 Is it flat wound strings? I play guitar, though I started on bass as a kid but only played bass for like a year so... Okay... gotta close up. One last guess though I'd still like to know for sure. The frets are sanded down so that he can get the fretless sound on the higher register, the only place you really want it anyway. If so that's genius! I've never heard of that.
