For the longest time, I am for keeping the A 10, especially when it is already bought and paid for by the gov. The A10, although heavily armored , will still not be enough for the high threat environment today.It will be best to use it as a stand off controller , guiding several drones into the target and actually do the job. Yes the A 10 can make it back to base with substantial damages, but what your video did not say is that plane or similar will likely just be good for parts and scrap metal. There are several cheaper alternates nowadays, made possible once you deleted the heavy and inflexible 30 mm canon. The army can take care of themselves better in the field today needing less air support. They have arty rockets and missiles , assuming they do not run out (all used up in Ukraine)
